Lost Cities Keeper Wiki

Hey there, everyone!

First off, we made our decision on our medal moderator. We had so many amazing applicants, but we had to choose one, and our selection was the fabulous Gildie! Congratulations!

Second, WE HAVE TWO MORE AVAILABLE POSITIONS!

If you already applied for the medal moderator position, and you are interested in both/one of these positions: Please comment below that you are interested and that you already applied.

If you have NOT applied for the medal moderator position: Please fill out the following application and comment it below. Please also note that new applicants have been a member of the wiki for at least a month.

  • Name:
  • Desired Positions:
  • Length of time on the wiki:
  • Amount of contributions:
  • Experience: (Please describe what you mainly do on the wiki, whether that's forum, editing pages, making templates, or something else. Please also describe any qualifications you might have, like positions of leadership on other wikis.)
  • Other: (You can put things like age and gender here if you want to, but this is an optional section. Please keep it professional; don't fill it with unnecessary information. We may be sorting through a lot of applications.)

Without further ado, here are the positions we're offering.

Roleplay Moderator[]

The roleplay moderator would be in charge of moderating our roleplay forum board to ensure rule compliance. You would also need to monitor your message wall for any reports to you. We would give you the "Discussions Moderator" ability, which would allow you to do things like remove replies, close threads, and move threads from one board to another.

We do understand that a lot of roleplay goes on on the wiki, and your mental health is the most important thing. We do not expect you to read *every* reply on *every* roleplay thread. Just keep an eye out. You might do things like search curse words on threads and check character pictures for appropriateness.

Patroller[]

The patroller position is like becoming an official reporter. You would receive the "rollback" ability, which will make it so you can easily undo edits. It will also give you the option to "mark as patrolled." When you go to the "diff" page of an article, template, or the like, you can mark it as patrolled. That shows it complies with our guidelines.

We will expect you to be comfortable with "Recent Changes" and to go through it frequently (in particular categories, which we will help you select) to ensure they comply with our guidelines. We will also expect you to report to administrators any guideline violations and to undo/rollback edits that go against them.

Conclusion[]

Thank you all for your interest in helping on the wiki! Good luck!

Please remember that we will delete any comments that are not applications or indications of interest. You can directly send Gildie your congratulations.
