Recap Time!
The Heirs have risen from their slumber, one hundred years later, to learn that the world has changed greatly. Everyone uses magic, and the World Destroyer’s soul was separated and sealed into four parts, one in each of the four kingdoms. Deneb, the Guardian, doesn’t want to help the Heirs, and that reason is revealed to be that he was a mercenary hired by a cult to assassinate them. That cult is known as The Children of Kayde, and their goal is to bring the World Destroyer back to its full power by binding all four parts of its soul into one person. We skip back to the Heirs, where they’re training in the training grounds of Queen Emilia’s castle. A trainee named Kayron challenges Corrin to a fight, explaining history as they spar. Eventually, Queen Emilia calls for the Heirs to help her destroy her part of the World Destroyer’s soul so that the Children of Kayde don’t get their hands on it. Kayron offers to kill all the monsters inside that are attracted to the WD’s soul fragment. When the Heirs go inside, they discover Kayron has murdered the queen and taken on the power of the World Destroyer’s soul fragment. We find out Kayde, evil goddess lady, has been talking to Kayron somehow and telling him all about this being the seventh world and the recreation loop stuff, so he felt pretty betrayed and started beating the heck out of the Heirs with his cool new WD powers. The Heirs escape, but only because plot armor. It turns out Kayron is like the leader of the Children of Kayde, which means Deneb works for him. Kayron is like, “buddy go kill the Heirs and I won’t kill you” and that’s about it. Deneb is like, “I’m frickin screwed.” Meanwhile, the Heirs are recovering and are like, “ok cool avengers team up until the end moment yeah!”

Beginners often have to do a complicated chant like the fire-affinity trainee with the spell “Fire Splendor.”If a spell is really difficult or powerful, even a professional might have to do a chant, like the 7th World Guardian and “Rewind.” If you know what you’re doing, spells can be done mentally. Of the spell is pretty standard, a beginner might be able to do it mentally. Here are the deities associated with different magically affinities:

Aaaand some history, courtesy of Not-Evil-Kayron:
Basically, there are four kingdoms, Lioquinnion, ruled by Queen Emilia, Jericho, ruled by King Markus, Savaris, ruled by Queen Teneria, and Windsor, ruled by King Detr. The rulers worked together twenty years ago to split the WD’s soul into four parts, each protected in a kingdom. However, Queen Teneria’s part recently escaped, the Archdemon. Also, now, Queen Emilia is dead now and I have her fragment, the Jaakobah, lmao.
