Also, I saw that you are currently getting therapy which is great! I had issues with anxiety for a pretty long time, but it got a lot better after I met with a psychologist. I'm also doing this project on mental health for Girl Scouts because I know a lot of people who have issues with mental health, but they haven't sought treatment, which is pretty sad.
oof in the same boat, but it's for 8th grade. wishing you luck and happines! 💕
sounds like a cool project. i think the worst thing about having a mental health issue is the fact that it makes you feel like you shouldn't share. that you should keep quiet. because that's the only way to really get help.
Yeah, that's very true. It was kind of hard for me to open up about my emotions, it still is tbh, but I realized that keeping in all of that anxiety would only make me more helpless. I definitely think it's important for people to check up on their friends from time to time to see how they're doing. Even though it seems like a small gesture, it can make someone feel a lot better because they know that someone is there for them.
I've been more Hobi-biased ever since I met this one person on discord. Her bias is Hobi, and she literally talks about him almost all the time. so yeah i have a lot of pictures and gifs of j-hope because of her and just decided "well shoot he's my bias".
i'm becoming a 2seok stan
oh my gosh have you seen that one fancam that blew up of him in his dior outfit rapping the last verse of tear
YES I have seen so many fancams of him in Outro: Tear and Mic Drop and he is amazing in all of them. It's amazing how he gives everything he has into each performance and makes every song count. I really haven't been able to let go of him as my bias; he's been my bias from the beginning even when I became an OT7 stan. Have you seen the Bapsae fancams? I swear he kills everyone in the stadium with his hip thrusts.
On a completely unrelated note, have you ever heard the song "Love Me Less" by MAX? It's such a bop
as a marvel army stan, eh i guess I understand, but I've heard everyone use the "I love you 3000" thing. it's not just for people who like marvel.
*happy jin stan noises*
I watch a lot of random kpop videos sometimes from a channel called kpop stuffs.
To keep up with drama I watch a channel called aexotiic.
I watch PewDiePie daily lol
I watch Alex Meyers cuz he uploads every Tuesday and he's pretty funny
I watch animation storytime tellers like TheOdd1sOut, Jaiden Animations, Domics, TheAMaazing, Alex Animation Corner, SomethingElseYT, Emirichu, to name my main ones.
I also watch commentary channels like Kurtis Conner, CodyKo, and Ryan Trahan.
and last but DEFINITELY not least I watch a gaming channel called videogamedunkey. Every single one of his videos has made me cry laughing. (but he swears a LOT so don't tell anyone you heard about him from me)
I'm about to become Namjoon-biased (along with Hobi of course) if he doesn't stop being so freaking adorable and intelligent and overall amazing. Like I would ACTUALLY vote him for president if he could run for president in America lol
is it weird that i have that exact picture of the little duck with the knife lol
why is that honestly a question? Not to be offensive or rude to your sister or anything, but she and literally everyone else should know that celebrities are humans. They have human rights. They need to take breaks. They aren't our, as fans, slaves, simply there for our entertainment. They really don't need to "serve" us anything.
I've seen so many people this year complaining about stuff like that. Like when crazy fans discovered James Charles's house and started knocking on his door, asking for a signature. He would say no, and politely asking them to just leave him alone. Yet a bunch of people complained about it saying "you owe your fans this; after all without them you wouldn't be where you are".
he doesn't owe you ANYTHING. you owe it to him to just respect his wishes and leave him the heck alone when he wants you to. he's in HIS home for crying out loud. He should be able to have privacy just like anyone else.
EXACTLY! BTS has worked their butts off for their fans, and they do literally EVERYTHING they can do to "serve" their fans. We don't even deserve half of the stuff they do for us, yet they're still so dedicated to us. It's honestly ridiculous how people think of them as some super humans while they are clearly just like the rest of us. No matter how much they try to hide it, they have their struggles, and I hate how people fail to aknowledge that.
I've been thinking lately about how I could NEVER handle what they went through, and still go through, as kpop idols (this goes for all idols). The amount of time they have to themselves for resting and just plain enjoyment is close to none. And the fact that they have to deal with all of this stuff at such a young age (especially Jungkook) is ridiculous.
I feel like the BTS members find strength in the other members, and they really couldn't do it alone. The fact that they are so close, like brothers, allows them to get through tough times. I just wish they had more breaks like this because they deserve it more than anyone.
Also, the James Charles thing is really sad. The fact that people don't know how to respect other's privacy is incomprehensible. Nobody deserves to go through crap like that, but people just lack common sense and forget that their "AcTioNs hAvE COnSeQuEncEs"
omg someone on Weverse posted a pic of Hobi's bag that he brought to LA, and they said that the bag gets to go to LA with Hobi while everyone else stays behind, and then Yoongi replied with "Gosh, I'm jealous." I'm so sad rn because Yoongi is all of us 😫 🥺
My new profile picture is a screenshot from the webtoon Freaking Romance. It's really good. I love the characters and art, and the story's good so far. I'd totally recommend reading it! (It only has 33 episodes, which is pretty small for a webtoon lol)
omg I read "Freaking Romance" (up to ep 24) and it's pretty good! My fav character so far is Zelan. Also, I appreciate how the author made him a famous singer to show what it's like to be a celebrity and always have to act like everything's alright when it's not.
AHHHH I WAS LITERALLY JUST LOOKING AT THAT PHOTO ON TWITTER OMGOMGOMGOMG
On a much, much sadder note:
My heart dropped when I read that. Is it actually confirmed? Seriously, nothing's going to be the same without him. Jin is the oldest brother; how is anyone going to survive without him? I hope he'll be back soon, but I'm glad that he is doing his duty for his country.
did you see the whole #BanKpopAccounts thing trending? whenever stuff like that trends, it's just a huge trigger for me. because last year someone told me to k*** m***** for liking bts and i'm still very much healing from that. the fact that i'm always going on twitter to check on my faves and stuff doesn't help because there's literally always a new hastag that's trending that's like that. it hurts and i cry everytime. i hate being generalized part of a fanbase that i find funny and cool but i'm being generalized with the sucky toxic side of it. and being told that i'm supporting slavery or something like that. like big ol fat thank you for making me feel even worse. you're doing so much for society rn making me feel extra depressed. And the fact that a majority of these people are like older then 15 is even more saddening. all of them commenting "kpoop" under every single fancam or whatever. it's sickening. yesterday, i literally had a mental breakdown because, like i said, it was a big trigger.
tldr: i just really hate twitter and almost people in general.
if it weren't for my fellow kpop friends or family that respect my taste in music, i might've just given up
I'm so so so sorry to hear that. The fact that someone said that to you just because you enjoy a band's music shows how cruel some people in this world are. Nobody should have to go through that just because other people in the fandom do stupid stuff. Actually, no one should have to go through that at all. Like you said, people should stop thinking that everyone in the fandom is crazy when it's really just a select few.
Although I don't usually go on that toxic side of twitter, I can see how that would affect you. I'm really sorry to hear that these people have made you feel bad about yourself when literally nothing is your fault. The fact that even going on twitter can be traumatizing for you says A LOT, and again, NO ONE should have to go through that.
Maybe you could stay off of twitter for a few days, if that helps, or not look at any comments from people (usually I just look at BTS's posts and click off). But no matter what, don't feel helpless. Don't let these rude people dictate your happiness because they really don't matter.
Also, if you ever want to talk about anything that's bothering you, you can come to me.
I just listened to it for the first time, and the lyrics hit me like a truck. I can see why that would help you so much. BTS does a great job of making songs that actually relate to their fans on a whole other level.
Have you ever listened to Dead Leaves (aka Autumn Leaves)?
ooh what songs do you play (or are you learning any rn?)? As well as Hold Me Tight and Dead Leaves, I'm trying to play Hyunjin from LOOΠΔ's Around You and Stray Kids's Side Effects.
btw, what platform do you usually listen to music on? I usually listen on Spotify, but I had to uninstall that since it was draining battery from my computer (idk why). Now I use either music I've downloaded or YouTube.
OH YES PARADISE! I didn't really like it at first, but then I read the lyrics and was like "wow i'm really sleeping on this huh".
I always thought pewds's thing was "very nice" lol.
I don't know if it's a direct pewdiepie reference, but I just saw a lot of people on reddit saying epic. I use it a lot on a daily basis now.
Right now I'm preparing for a piano competition so I have to memorize 3 pieces: "To the Rising Sun" by Torjussen, "Allegro" by Pergolesi, and "Valse" by Chopin. I really wanted to learn some songs by BTS, but I can barely find any time to practice my other songs :( What sheet music do you use to play these songs because it's awesome that you've picked up those songs?
I usually listen on Spotify on my phone and Youtube on my computer
Pewdiepie has said "very epic" or just "epic" in a lot of the videos that I have watched, so I guess that's what's up on reddit
Also, have you ever listened to this song called "Stay Beautiful" by Jimin Park? Her voice is amazing and the song is even better
Did you see the latest ep of Freaking Romance? I was sHoOoOoOoOoOk
Zelan's shirt is always slipping down his shoulders and chest for some reason... but I'm not really complaining 😏
Oof good luck on your competition. Hope you succeed. I don't know those pieces, but just the name sounds hard. I tried to learn Clair De Lune for fun (cuz it was in the butterfly: prologue video and the LOVE YOURSELF highlight reel with Euphoria), but gave up after the second sheet.
I usually use musescore.com for a lot of BTS piano sheets. Some people bought piano sheets made by channels like Doo Piano or Smyang piano and transferred them on to musescore. I basically screenshot the sheets, pasted them on to a document, and printed them out. (which is probably illegal since you're supposed to pay for them but hasdjkfhsukejsd what stopped me)
For Around You, I found a video with a link to a PDF. And I've only been able to play the first 30 seconds of Side Effects because the sheet music I found you had to buy it to get the full version. ;-;
I'm about to check out Jimin Park. I'm subbed to JYP so I got the notification for it, but it was like 1 AM or smth so I didn't click on it. 😔
YES I HAVE DIFJOAIKJDFL
I'm always anxiously waiting around my computer at 6 PM (i live in PST) cuz that's when it every webtoon updates for me lol.
(btw i have a lot of recommendations for webtoons, and not all of them are romance)
I mean I guess it is. I just like how it's literally just aesthetic lofi.
Thanks :) OOF I hate having to learn the music and sight read it, but once you've learned it, it's usually so fun to play! I bet if you didn't give up, you could nail it after a few more tries (I know it's hard but I guess it teaches perseverance lol)
I'll have to check it out because I had previously been searching for good sheet music
I only pressed on the video because her name was the opposite of Jimin's, but I'm so glad that I did
What non-romantic webtoons have you read? I'd like to get into more because the concept of reading the comics is so cool!
Oh well I already threw the sheet music away reeeee
I mean, not every sheet music there is good because some people just know chords and that's all they put down instead of like, well, this:
I only read a few non-romantic webtoons, some of which have ended. (Romance ones aren't bad either lol. They all have pretty good plots.)
unOrdinary (which I'd really recommend reading, season 1 just ended and it's coming back in November, so that's something to look forward to)
Dr. Frost (which ended. really cool one with psychology, stuff like that)
stalker x stalker (canvas webtoon. means it's not an official webtoon. Doesn't update weekly like official ones. Just funny yanderes lol)
Meow Man (some romance, mainly comedy though)
Winter Moon (really good story. There are a lot of episodes, but they're very short)
Fractured (also canvas. mainly mystery, but some romance maybe)
Lost in Translation (I wouldn't recommend reading this one while it's still on canvas, it's going to become an original webtoon. Currently leaving me on a cliffhanger lol. I'm going to have to wait a whole year before it's answered. So yeah, I love it, but wait til it's not on canvas anymore)
YES AND OH MY GOSH SNAILORDS STOP LEAVING ME ON ALL THESE CLIFFHANGERS FDJIOKSFODIJ I SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT THINGS LIKE SCHOOL DANGIT
oKaY so I was all ready to ship Zylith and Verose, but then who the heck is this girl? that? kissed? verose? like who? aND like wHaT tHe hEcKiNG hEck iS gOiNg oN wItH zElAn'S mOM?
I don't think I have a favorite since I usually freak out over every single one of them whenever they update. I mean, there were ones I stayed up reading when I was still new to Webtoons and stuff, but that was because those ones had a lot of chapters (like I Love Yoo, True Beauty, Age Matters, ORANGE MARMALADE for example)
IKRRR I'm soo confused and SnailLords is really out here thinking it's okay to give the readers a heart attack every ep, like whyyy
I feel like the girl might be her gf because Verose was fine with the kiss and the girl was acting all possessive of her but who REALLy knows. I have no clue what's up with Zelan's mom though
Your signature is the definition of beauty (did you use the bi flag colors?)!!! I love the colors and the layout 😍 If you change your profile pic will you have to change the picture on the signature manually or will it be automatic?
Today this girl in my class started doing the Jungkook fanchant and I was sHOoKSok
YEAH MILORD WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING UHISFDAUEAWFDIJK
IKR AHHHHHH I'M SO HAPPY
I saw so many people (mainly 1d fans) who were saying that BTS weren't coming back, cuz that's what their faves did?? and like?? I'm laughing so hard rn... So many people thought that oh my gosh. September's off to an okay start
These people really are delusional to think that that's how the kpop industry even works. The kpop industry is so much more restricting than any western artists could even imagine, not to mention BTS still has several years left on their contract.
Why is September only "okay?" How's school for you? For me, it's kinda stressful :(
I had to take the ACT this past weekend, which was SOOOO much fun *voice dripping with sarcasm*
But then I saw a cottonmouth snake swimming in the water when I went fishing which was pretty cool
had a mental breakdown in the bathroom. i didn't do anything to myself (thankfully, am in a much clearer state of mind rn) but i just kinda fell apart after P.E. today. and it was over some silly teasing. the simplest things are huge triggers for me, and i hate it. i spent 15 min crying then another 15 min telling myself to love myself. which seemed to help. i probably would not have gone to my next class if I hadn't remembered that. I still feel kinda bad though
ree sorry for ranting to you again (for like the 3rd time) but idk where else to put it sorry (feel free to rant to me too lol)
I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm glad that you talked yourself through it, which shows how strong you are. I know it's not easy to deal with thoughts that keep circling around your head, but you kept going which is awesome. Is there any way you could tell the person who teased you to not do it again or just talk to them about how uncomfortable it makes you feel? I would tell you to just ignore the teasing, but I know that's not always how our brains work. I'm also glad that you told yourself to love yourself because that is really important when you're going through a lot.
Also, like I've said before, you can talk to me any time because bottling up our feelings is never good (at least that's what my mom tells me lol)
i'm feeling proud of myself for that too, since that's what me and my counselor talked about. i guess looking back on the situation helped me realize that.
i would tell the people to stop teasing, but it's a group of boys in my class who are friends. they tease everybody, even one of their own "friends" (i always feel bad for him; they call him obese and stuff even when he's literally skinnier than them?? like?? okay??)
they're kinda sexist, and having a girl tell them "hey stop teasing" probably wouldn't have much affect on them oof
and oh my gosh jimin with a rainbow on his fACE I'M FLUSTERED IJFSDLDIHEULADJ
I honestly think Inside Out's a good movie (idk about the best but eh). It's such a good representation of a kid becoming an adult, going through depression, letting go of their childhood. I have more to say on that, but I think this video explains it more
linking it cuz it has bad words and I don't want some poor kid to go through the collection of Videos we have on this wiki
I mean, the OP of the video is also criticizing it, but yeah, that's the best explanation I can find
Good luck on your debate!
Oh and for the Namjooning definition, I found a definition on Urban Dictionary (which I think I originally saw on Twitter)
Well, for me, jumpscares are only scary once, and because of that I don't really consider them horror. Something that can be psychologically horrifying like the Shining or something so creepy it's scary like any of Junji Ito's works (for the sake's of your sleeping at night, I highly recommend not googling any of his stuff; he literally created the worst of my nightmares)
I had a very scary nightmare where I was alone in a circus that was on fire. A clown approached me and starting making fun of me. I remember my dream self screaming then the clown spraying water in my face laughing. I woke up crying out. very epic.
also, i know you're not trying to stan any other groups cuz of time (which i totally understand i hardly have time for all of my groups :( ) but if you ever want recommendations for exceptionally good (imo) girl group songs ('sides (G)I-DLE, gave you some good bsides there) i'm getting into like 4 ggs rn and oh boy. if i had a playlist it would be thriving 😌
Well, today I woke up at 12. My sister had her friend over so I talked and played a game with them and my little brother. And after watching Pewds play Untitled Goose Game for 1h, I am now reading "A Budgie's Life" on Webtoons while listening to albums.
and now i'm leaving for therapy wish me luck uwu
WAIT WHAT I THOUGHT THAT WAS WELL HFOAEWHLJKFDS
the title seems a bit weird lol but I'm definitely listening to it when it comes out
okay, so I went to my friend's house for her birthday. We're just spending the day with her and her family. We're both ARMY, and I'm talking about kpop songs stuck in my head.
I'm talking about all my current fave groups: Day6, TWICE, TXT, whatever. But I mention "Highway to Heaven" which was at the time NCT 127's newest song. I start to talk about NCT
then her dad goes
"wow so all these kpop groups are just copying other people's songs that's so lazy why do you like them"
so i say "huh"
and he says "highway to heaven - isn't that the name of another song they're just copying wow"
what. the. heck.
not only does this dude have the audacity to call bts girls over and over and over again (cuz he thinks men can only look like him; which, holy crow, if all men looked like him then for the first time in my life i am truly glad i'm bi)
but he thinks that something as simple as a song title is plagiarism
oh. my. gosh.
Let me just get start with the title "butterfly".
This is such a popular song title choice
Literally go on to spotify and search up butterfly
you will not be disappointed.
There's rap songs called butterfly, there's pop songs called butterfly, but more specifically kpop songs called butterfly. (choosing kpop because I know the genre more)
Off the top of my head, I can name 6 kpop songs called Butterfly
Butterfly by BTS
Butterfly by LOOΠΔ
Butterfly by Weki Meki
Butterfly by Astro
Butterfly by The Boyz
and Butterfly by BTOB
Although they literally have the same name,
they are literally such different songs.
You don't even have to listen to them to know what I'm talking about.
You can take a look at the lyrics.
BTS's lyrics: About a relationship where the singer is nervous to approach a person. (also has to do with the Butterfly Effect considering the BU)
LOOΠΔ's lyrics: About being able to dream and looking within yourself to find you are worth it. (also has to do with the Butterfly Effect considering the LOOΠΔverse)
Weki Meki's lyrics: About a relationship where the singer is comparing someone to a butterfly, telling them to not be afraid about the world.
Astro's lyrics: About a romantic relationship where the singer watches the described person from a distance
The Boyz's lyrics: About a romantic relationship where the singer describes themself and their partner as wandering, loving butterflies.
BTOB's lyrics: About a romantic relationship where the two parties are described as a butterfly and flower.
Only an ignorant person would say they are all the same. The fact that all these songs are in the same genre just proves that having the same song title ≠ same song
I have more to say on this but it's 4am and my train of thought just crashed so lol
going into style of each individual song and feel of each individual song in part 2 and 3
For some reason my comment didn't post so I'll try again:
I'll have to check those songs out
THE MUSIC VIDEO WAS SOOOSOODIFU GOOODOODD OMG
Dang I agree with everything you said. There's songs in western pop that have the same name but I guess that's irrelevant to your friend's dad
I mean I know that's 6 PM KST but they couldn't release it at like 4 or 5 pm
ATEEZ (i'm still new to them ree), SuperM (debut but all the idols are from EXO, NCT, or SHINee so they aren't really debuting i guess), Stray Kids (Third comeback this year (wth), also my other ult bg), and TXT (First comeback since debut)
also, I have learned I really like this type of music (alternative pop)
One time I got this weird 30 second video in my recommended. The title was in Japanese so I didn't know what it was. But the thumbnail was thomas the train with some deformed face and he had LEGS. IT WAS TERRIFYING WEFHJKNDS WHO MADE THAT
and i can't find the video again cuz the title. i kinda wanna see it lol
I might go to a near Barnes and Noble to check it out too. Lol, I went there once and found a magazine on BTS. Pretty accurate and informational as compared to other magazines and articles i've seen.
Have you seen that article on kpop Cosmopolitan did? video on it (they've deleted; their current kpop articles are definitely better) It was very clearly unresearched. They called BTS teenagers from Seoul? lol what? they also made it seem like EXO and BTS hate each other which they literally don't. like no bands hate each other; it's just the fanbases being dumb
Ah yeah I also saw the BTS Mattel dolls (they were kinda creepy) and the POP dolls too!
I hate it when news sources do that. Like if you don't report on other subjects without doing your research, what makes that okay for writing an article about kpop? It's things like this that trigger the fanbases and cause backlash which leads to people outside of the fandom to think that all fans are over-obsessed and crazy fans willing to do anything to defend their idols. I just wish people would understand that kpop isn't some toxic thing that shouldn't be explored just because of how the media portrays it. I honestly don't know how kpop became so hated tbh
the mattel dolls are creepy lol. Have you seen those videos where people remake them to look more realistic? They're amazing.
oof i want to get the POP dolls :(
yeah, i'm literally convinced its bait so they can show everyone "this is what the fans are like" but that's literally cuz we were really provoked. there are fans that will drag people for no reason. they sadly exist. feel free to call out those types of people every day. but to provoke people and then say that's what they're like all the time? uh okay.
i have no idea how kpop became so deep. like there's a legit account on twitter that @ is IBlockKpopAccounts. they make tweets like "like for kpop rt for actual music" lol dude it's mostly pop in korean can u chill
if you consider pop music (which it def is) then kpop is music i'm so confused.
Yeah I wish I had such artistic skills to be able to do that. Maybe the investment in buying one of the dolls would pay off XD
Same they're so cute!!!
P R E A C H 🙌
People are just trying to trigger others for no reason smh
HAPPY SPOOKY SEASON 💀
This is probably my favorite month of the year other than December just because of Halloween
Did you see the latest ep of Freaking Romance? Zylith's dad better back off before the whole fandom kills him. Also, I'm really glad that Zelan was there to stop Zylith from opening the door. Some people are theorizing that he is her from another dimension so they have similar events happening in their lives. For example, when Zelan's mom died, he was happy because he hated her just like Zylith hates her dad, so then Zylith will be happy when her dad dies. Or something like that idk
Also, did you see the Keefe POV and Legacy preview that Custard Bursts posted? It's kind of sad :(
I had no idea what "SPOOKY SCARY SKELETONS SEND SHIVERS DOWN YOUR SPINE" was and I looked it up, and the song is lowkey a bop 👌
I also don't know what an epic skeleton doot doot may may is but it sounds interesting
What's Nightmare Factory about?
Oooof I just read it without an account
HYUNG LINE IS THE BEESTT
That also makes me angry because I love all the members but I just happen to pay attention to a few of them more than the others. That's the whole point of having a bias, not to hate on the other members XD
Honestly, this whole bias mess is more complicated than it really needs to be lol
then again most living tombstone remixes are pure fuego
doot doot calcium
I have literally no idea but i'm going to find out one day after I read Million Dollar Bride
HOW THE SIGN UP BOX POPPED UP AND DIDN'T GO AWAY TIL I MADE AN ACCOUNT
Yeah it's not like I'm an akgae. it's the same thing with me liking other groups. Like people think I'm "leaving the fanbase" lol no i just like music from other groups and want to support them and stuff.
aLsO speaking of other groups, SuperM "debuted" (one of the members has debuted 4 times in different subunits; SM give the guy a break omg) and AB6IX had their comeback today.
From SuperM's album, I'd recommend Jopping (title track which I would add here but i'm feeling lazy today lol), 2 Fast (this songs changes genres and speed like 3 times), and Super Car. Also a bunch of people like No Manners but eh
From AB6IX's album, i'd recommend Blind For Love (title track), Sunset, _And Me, Love Air, and Pretty.
also any ideas to the code to get into the room or whatever it is
colorful ones. not wiki friendly (don't @ me :( )
I think they might be used to it since most of the members chosen have already debuted in other groups/subunits and they get more promotion for stuff. And SM is like one of the worst companies I literally hate it, but I love their artist's music.
Are we talking about the same game? Is it the one where you're in an elevator and then things happen and you try not to die?
SODFIPSDOIF I want to see that desperately 😂
Oof that makes sense
I love that kpop artists, especially male artists, are breaking gender norms by wearing makeup and more feminine clothing sometimes among other things. It shows that people can do whatever they want to and still rock it
I'M NOT COMPLAINING I WAS JUST OVERWHELMED DJFOIHAPF
HAPPY LATE MENTAL HEALTH DAY, HAPPY LATE COMING OUT DAY, HAPPY LATE DAY OF THE GIRL DAY
TODAY IS JIMIN'S BIRTHDAY AND MY SISTER'S BIRTHDAY YEYSADFIDYFAOIFYA
I'M SCREAMING BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHO POSTED THESE
I'm pretty sure it was Tae who posted those... warped photos of Jimin's face but it was Vante who took the picture of Jimin blowing snow (okay literally that picture is so pretty like weht ausidrluehdjfkbacx)
AHAHDHAHHADHAH THE SECOND ONE I'M-
THE LAST ONE DID YOU SEE ALL THE HASHTAGS JUNGKOOK INCLUDED LIKE 5 OF THEM WERE "I'm sorry" ADJSFIHUEDFJKNCXA
that lucky dog
also, this video is a 360 VR video where you can move your pov it's really cool
it's similar to this one doodle google did. it's also on youtube. just search up google doodle 360 or something like that.
aLsO speaking of google doodles, do you know what I'm talking about when I say google doodles, and if yes, do you play them oifjdnlaiuerjnksdf because i dO
really? i thought it was fun. played it with my siblings lol. doesn't it give a tutorial in the beginning (owo)? i could be wrong
I HATE THE DAD SM LIKE CNA HE JUST NOT OHFDSJKLFMXCN
YEAH JUNGKOOK'S HAIR EOIRJDFLAKSJ
I do miss it long, but in the end it's only his opinion that matters so yeah whatever makes him hapy uwu
i have an interesting opinion on that i guess (bts paving the way). cuz there are people who say they did, yet say they are above the kpop industry and above kpop both which i disagree with.
I do agree that bts paved the way, along with
psy (oppa gangnam style was the first kpop mv to hit 1b views)
girls generation (like the most iconic gg; their song "into the new world" is considered the song of the nation so i mean-)
blackpink (about to become the first group to have an mv hit 1b views, first k-act performed at coachella)
and twice (they're quickly rising in album sales especially after fancy, armyonces are everywhere lol)
bts aren't above the kpop industry.
bighit is still an entertainment company, and imo all entertainment (k or otherwise) companies still suck no matter what because they still push their artists, hold them to ridiculous standards, and in the end it all comes down to money for them.
bts also aren't "above kpop".
I think it's kinda dumb that any song in korean is still considered k pop (unless by that they mean korean popular music) because songs like Seattle by Sam Kim and Shoot Me by Day6 aren't really pop. Seattle is acoustic, while Shoot Me is alternative pop rock. Both these songs are under the genre "kpop" though. kinda off topic but bear with me.
like Sam Kim and Day6, bts's songs aren't all under the genre "pop". this is not what i see a lot of people mean by bts being above kpop though.
I've observed stan twt for a while now, and a 90% of the time when someone says "bts are above kpop" they mean that bts are a whole new genre "btspop" whatever the heck that means. they usually say this because of the one time rm said that bts weren't the representatives of kpop. I see people quote this a lot.
Well, ofc, bts aren't the representatives of kpop, the sole representatives, that is. If I were to introduce someone to kpop, I wouldn't just mention bts and say that that's all there is. I'd mention my other ults: Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, and LOOΠΔ and how they're all very different from each other and what they each have to offer.
tl;dr: bts did pave the way along with a few other groups. there is no such thing as "btspop", and bts aren't above the kpop industry.
sdfjaeworasd why did i write this i could've done hw uwu
Idk maybe i'm just dumb, but when I was playing it on my ipad it was very difficult
I hope that he cut his hair because HE wanted to, not because some fans didn't like it and openly said that because if it's the latter, then I'm going to throw hands
Personally, when I think of somebody "paving the way," I think of somebody revolutionizing something, which BTS hasn't really done. Sure they've popularized it a lot around the world, but that doesn't mean they made a significant change in the kpop industry.
I also agree with what you said. BTS is in no way above the kpop industry or other kpop groups because they all work extremely hard and produce quality music. Even though I don't "stan" any other groups, I do realize that each and every member in each of these groups works their butt off just to survive in the industry.
I also agree with the companies being crap. The way some of these companies treat the idols is unimaginable and inhumane. It's like these idols are just dolls of the companies and are just used to make money smh
LOL BTS pop?? This is the first time I'm hearing of that, and that's kind of ridiculous.
I feel like if a group debuts as a "kpop group" then all of their music will continue to be called "kpop" even if it's actually not in the pop genre
MOOD I spend too much time online and I hate it but it's so addicting

i will give jk magic hair growing cream if it's the latter iorjwajreflsdk
I think a bunch of people just thought of paving the way as in BTS introduced kpop to the rest of the world. (mainly cuz of this one article that i can't find it used "bts paved the way" in the title which is what started all this.) I agree, they haven't done much to change the kpop industry itself.
i see so many "btspop enthusiasts" but maybe that's cuz some stan accounts i stalk (since i don't have a twt acc) interact with said enthusiasts a lot.
yeah i guess
EIJPAROHFOD S I LITERALLY SPENT YESTERDAY READING WEBTOONS, BROWSING REDDIT, TALKING HERE, TALKING ON DISCORD, WATCHING YT, THERE'S SO MUCH TO DO AND IT'S SO HARD TO IGNORE FOR BORING THINGS LIKE HW
sad note: sulli, a former member of the group f(x), comitted suicide as of yesterday.
i couldn't fall asleep after hearing that news cuz i was crying too much
I just played the google doodle from 2016 and I felt like a ninja when I was slashing all the ghosts
OOF the ipad is 5 years old now XD
OoO It's like that magic hair potion that you use in those hair styling games!
That makes sense. I guess it depends on how you interpret "paving the way"
AHHHH THE INTERNET IS TOO GOOD
I heard about that and it really scared me. I looked into it and I saw that a lot of people were insulting her about multiple things, which made me even more sad. I can't imagine what it must be like for the other members and for the fans. Did you listen to her music?
SAME IT'S ALSO EXTREMELY SATISFYING USING A LIGHTNING BOLT AT THE RIGHT TIME AND KILLING A BUNCH OF GHOSTS
AHH THERE WAS THIS HAIR STYLING GAME I PLAYED BY TOCA BOCA THAT HAD THIS HAIR GROWING THING I THOUGHT WAS GEL LOL
YET IT SUCKS AT THE SAME TIME
people think bts has duality? nah, it really is the internet.
yeah, she did a lot of "controversial" things and had "controversial" opinions. (posted pics with her boyfriend openly, didn't like to wear bras, was pro-choice, etc.) the only reason these things are considered controversial is because south korea is very conservative. A lot of people and kmedia started to hate on her for that. She also released a solo work called "Goblin". the title track for Goblin is about a girl with dissociative disorder. Mental illness stigma is a really big thing in sk, so more people disliked her for that. article for more info
i was inches from getting into her solo stuff. and then i decided to check twt at 4 in the morning
i couldn't stop crying
and i still can't
a huge part of me can't process that she's actually gone. she's actually not here on this planet anymore. she's away, far away. and i hope she's getting the rest she needs
YES THAT'S THE GAME! I honestly have no idea what the hair-growing substance was
What do you mean by bts having duality?
So she basically got hate for doing what she wanted with her own body, supporting women's rights, and people with mental illness? First of all, I love this lady, and I wish I had known her sooner. Second of all, the fact that she got that much hate to drive her to kill herself makes me hate society.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I was shocked and I didn't even know her.
dshiljakewinfdjkns not this one you wouldn't pleasejfoiadjsoljdskihukwjnae, fmn it involves way too much fangirling i am willing to express online or otherwise

yeah, make it right was honestly my least favorite track out of mots: persona but i still liked it. the mv was really cool, and i'm in the same boat as you it really made me appreciate the song more. when I checked it was #17 trending on youtube, and it defnitely trended on twitter
lol now that i'm into webtoons, there are so many characters i could dress up as but i'm not doing halloween this year so it looks like me and my brother are just going to play super smash bros together or smth while our sister goes out with her friends
also, Cha Eunwoo from Astro is a '97 liner and is friends with Jungkook uwu
Why the apartment though? What happened there?
Also, I'm worried that Freaking Romance will end up like another Nightmare Factory (which I finished btw). Nightmare Factory ended on a huge cliffhanger after only finishing season 1. There are so many questions I have of it that will probably remain unanswered. The first 30 episodes of Nightmare Factory were going somewhere really good, and then they stopped. Then the other 60 episodes had a lot of potential but they felt very disconnected from the first 30. They continued in their own story somewhat. But that story still remained unfinished.
I'd give examples of the questions it left me with but idk if you want to read it so h don't wanna spoil it
LOL same i just wanna give the other players a heck ton of damage and hopefully kill them off
the plot and main characters (feel free to skip to tldr):
Kreyeul - a greysexual/greyromantic male (meaning like half ace/aro) practicing celibacy (abstaining from sexual/romantic relationships). He has hemoptysis (coughs up blood) whenever he thinks of violence. He also was supposedly a fictional character made by the other main character, Emai. He has the power to summon things as long as he knows where they're located and what exactly they are. He can virtually summon anything but it could drain his energy
Emai - an insomniac female. Every so often she will get begin to write a seemingly fictional story and can't stop writing untill the story is over, hence her insomnia. She has the power of body manipulation meaning she change the physical state her body is in by healing it or numbing it so she doesn't feel pain stuff like that
so basically Emai had been writing about Kreyeul for a while. she gets sucked into this place called the Nightmare Factory for some reason. A siren named Phirre runs her through a bunch of challenges for 12 hours (so she can get a wish answered). Emai summons Kreyeul to help her. but those 12 hours are cut short because Emai broke a rule eventually. (end of first 30 episodes)
Kreyeul and Emai go back to Kreyeul's world which is somehow now connected to Emai's. THey go to Emai's house and at first she professes to have a family and proceeds to show Kreyeul and his other friend their rooms. But it turns out, they check hospital records and Emai is apparently a deceased person. at the hospital, Emai claims to have said no such thing about having a family.
Emai begins to write about another siren, Kidus. Kidus lives on an island entirely lawless where one citizen is aloud to kill at least one person per year.
Siren's each have a power that gives them a huge pro and a huge con. Phirre's is that he can burn anything he touches. Con is he can't touch anyone he loves. Kidus's is that he feels no physical pain. Con is he doesn't feel emotions either.
So Emai writes a story of Kidus basically emotionally manipulating this girl who killed his rabbit. story ends i forget the moral
They meet Kidus somehow i forget lol
we begin to learn of Phirre and how he used to love another siren named Ylantis. now, here's where the story is really close to ending.
Kreyeul met Ylantis when he was little. Apparently as a kid, if he read a book, he would unintentionally summon the characters in the book. This resulted in him summoning a ton of dangerous characters which killed a lot of people. now this siren, Ylantis, begins to talk to him telling him to stop. This past paragraph has been narrated by Kreyeul, and he ends it by saying that Emai might be Ylantis.
both dislike blue to the point of vomit
both were body manipulators
both had similar speech patterns
both knew a lot about Kreyeul for some reason
I know this is extremely confusing because I don't know how to summarize things well enough (i confused my self xd)
tldr: Emai and Kreyeul try to finish Nightmare Factory, a factory that puts them through literally their worst nightmares (host is Phirre, a siren). They break a rule and the factory stops. Emai claims then suddenly doesn't claim to have a family. She begins to write about another siren, Kidus. They end up meeting Kidus. Kreyeul begins to notice that Emai is a lot like Ylantis who happened to be in love with Phirre. story ends there
now i think that either
Emai is a siren, and she is Ylantis. Her power is that she can write about whole other dimensions in extremely excruciating. Con is that she forgets who she is. a whole bunch of other stuff was supposed to happen where Emai/Ylantis and Phirre fall in love again.
Emai used to be a siren, was punished to be a human like how Phirre was punished to host nightmare factory. She writes dimensions into existence which causes her amnesia and insomnia.
i'm leaning more towards the first one
but that's what i've settled on jdfsoiakfsdljkl
and nightmare factory has officially ended sO both of these theories are a huge reach fdjlkajklerdf
bUT instead I listened to the whole WINGS album again for like the 70th time ugh it's my favorite and it's so good. also playing paper io rn cuz it's the weekend
my school just finished the first quarter this feels so weird
that'd be a smart move for sk's government since bts make them a lot of money and attract a lot of tourists. if he doesn't end up going that'd be neat. if he does, then i'll be sad. but, even as a devout jin stan, i know he was a Korean citizen with duty to his country before he was my ult bias out of all kpop groups. so idk
also have you seen this comeback trailer from their I NEED U era? I saw it earlier this year when I while scrolling through bighit's channel. very aesthetic and very nice drawings.
huh. my family does this thing where on sundays we don't do any electronics or anything like that. so today i was unusually productive. (as in i did homework (wow so epic) and played the piano)
also, do you know why your power was out? cuz some of my sister's friends' power went out cuz we live in California, and rn it's really windy and there are a bunch of fire warnings since it's dry season too. our power would sometimes blink out and then everything would come back on.
there are a few high points as well as low points. for one, it's pretty liberal and has easy access for people who are transitioning from male to female or from female to male, stuff like that. marijuana is legalized which is ok. some downsides are we are infamous for our wildfires, inflation in gas prices, and we have a lot of homeless people. (like everywhere it's extremely depressing to see how many people spend winter in only a sleeping bag)
also, I'm not very close to the fires but a few people that go to my school had to evacuate and stuff. and we didn't do PE outside (which was good) we just did extreme cup stacking
yeah, i fortunately didn't leave out too many details, even in the tl;dr
han seo hee (who i learned is apparently still a trainee and not an ex) has accused a lot of male idols in the past (ASTRO's Eunwoo, IKON's B.I., BIGBANG's T.O.P and even Tae fdlkajfsd) of lots of scandalous things that have mostly ruined their careers (cept Eunwoo and Tae; thank goodness; B.I's case is another thing; idk about T.O.P) such as going to clubs, smoking w**d, dealing dr*gs, having aff*irs, stuff like that. All idols she has accused of anything have been male most likely because she is part of a radical feminist movement in SK. she remains a trainee at some random entertainment company because her family is rich (and they're probably paying the company)
she has now accused MONSTA X's Shownu of having an affair with a married woman (Starship Entertainment released an official statement that Shownu had absolutely no idea the woman was married and met up with her husband and they cleared things up) and MONSTA X's Wonho of being in a juvenile detention center and smoking w**d. Now even if he did do those things, both of those were before he had even joined Starship Ent. and when he was (i think) younger than 17. however, SK is a very conservative country where a majority of people are against w**d. so k netizens ate it up. He left the group as he probably believed he was bringing down Monsta X. (which he's literally not boi we did not trend you 3 times with 2m tweets for nothing isadhjfajkjs come back please i miss you ehefkljds i can't lose 4 people in the same month oi;adsfjklhuwliefsdcm i am going to slap you pls comeback ok why am i crying now anyway)
that's mostly what I've heard's gone down.
I'd recommend watching KPOP Junkee's videos on the situations that have happened so far. He definitely explains things better and simpler h
i never knew why exactly why i liked singing in the rain, don't leave me, crown, magic shop, voices, insomnia, hellevator, egoist, and euphoria just sO much. like they're all such different songs. i mean, i knew i liked the beat drop, but the fact that it's a whole genre i haven't dived too much into ugh i bet i'm missing out on so much dfsoijaklmfjnbmeds
I don't think I liked So What too much, just cause i'm usually not in the mood for party songs? i can listen to romantic songs, happy songs, and sad songs but not party songs.
Euphoria has so much meaning to me
I remember after listening to fake love, dna, and idol, i was googled their albums, and ofc love yourself answer popped up. so I search it up on youtube, find the full album, and play it. euphoria being the first song absolutely blew my mind. I just remember trying to focus on my math homework after that and failing. ugh it made me inexplicably happy and i just love it so much
what the heck? how-
does your friend have prime or something like that? (idk the benefits of prime but maybe it has something to do with that)
I get that. I was kinda disappointed to see the series start to circle around the ships, which really shouldn't be such a big part of the series. Also, Flashback was an absolute bore. I only liked the baby troll fighting scene oof
I wonder how long this wiki will last after all the books have been released. Like will people still be active?
Idk about the lyrics because there was one part that I didn't like in the lyrics where one guy started rapping and the lyrics were kind of.. risqué
Ok I watched the video and the first thing I noticed was the visuals. Literally all of the groups mentioned had awesome outfits, and the music videos looked 🔥🔥
The next thing I noticed were the "powerful" moves mentioned. I will say that when I think of girl groups, I automatically think of cutesy dance moves and songs (which is definitely not true), so that was really awesome. For me, the most impactful songs are the powerful songs, so I thought those were really cool
Next thing I noticed was some of the topics talked about like consent, which I think is really important
And finally, I just want to say that the people who put down girl groups because boy groups are "better" are delusional. Personally, I guess I prefer boy groups since I literally only stan one group, which is a boy group lol, but from the MVs that I have watched from girl groups, they have either been pretty powerful or had a good meaning.
Also, the thing about Blackpink is that I like the members, I just HATE the company. But I will admit that the MVs are super good, especially "Ddu-du ddu-du" and "Kill This Love"
they apologize for their lack of music a lot but it really isn't their fault in the slightest
i'm sure if yg let them write their own songs too that would definitely help
Jennie wrote her rap verse in her solo song SOLO which is what's considered a general standard for a rapper (not just idol rapper) in general and it had a good flow
so she definitely has potential for writing songs
yes, Jennie definitely gets the best treatment out of Blackpink from YG. but this is mainly because she's the most popular member in Korea. They love her because she's cute but also s*xy. ofc she's talented; it just really shows when Jennie gets the best outfits for every stage, the most lines in every song, the most promotion and the first solo song out of blackpink released, and the first member (i think) to become a promoter for a fashion label.
about the laziness "scandal"
I had a pretty similar reaction honestly
however, that was so out of the ordinary with her usual stage presence. like out of blackpink, i saw some of their live stages before that whole scandal. Jennie was the one hyping up the crowd.
while i jumped on the hate train back then, in retrospect, something was definitely going on behind the scenes.
this video (especially the end) educated me on a lot of incidents i didn't know happened
like the part OP calls "The Sickness"
when Jennie starts breathing and seems on the verge of tears, that reminded me way too much of me when I had my first panic attack.
it starts with the breathing, gradually taking in bigger and bigger breaths but for some reason you're not getting enough air.
then it seems like walls are closing in and your ears block
and then tears fall out of no where
she really was about to cry but she knew how to stop herself (which i learned is to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth; whoever invented that is revolutionary)
now, the other members:
Rose: promised solo earlier this year (still haven't gotten squat); there's also speculation that yg is making her fake her high-pitched aegyo-ish voice (it's of her on a v-live before she realized the camera was on) hence why some people say she sounds like she's straining her voice (i learned this from the same channel that posted the video above)
Lisa: the most popular member of blackpink internationally; she has the most followers on instagram out of all kpop idol or kpop related accounts (idk if i worded that properly); by far the best dancer on blackpink, yet never given a dance break (there was a dance break for her in the original choreo of kill this love but yg took it out)
Jisoo: her vocals are considered impeccable by the kpop stan community and in the comment section of blackpink mr removed videos; has the least lines in every song; probably never going to get a solo if it's taking this long for rose and lisa
yg has seemingly done this with other groups like 2ne1 and BIGBANG
he picked one member to pamper
while the others sort of faded unless they could make their own stuff
but that hopefully stops with the new CEO (even though she pushed for 2ne1 to disband (like bruh)
on another note, listening to ATEEZ's entire discography because reasons and atm I recommend Treasure, Pirate King, HALA HALA, Desire, Light, Aurora, Dancing like Butterfly Wings, Wonderland, and Dazzling Light
I have somehow heard all of the stuff about Blackpink that you mentioned except for Rose's promised solo. Lisa has always been the most eye-catching to me. She just seems to have a great stage presence!
I actually watched that video of Jennie's "sickness" ashdfoaisduf
I listened to some of the ATEEZ's songs that you mentioned and they seemed really hype! I also heard a girl talking about them in my math class lol
blinks have been trending tags like #BLACKPINKLEAVEYG for the past few days. honestly, that would be the best. though the old ceo (the actual yg) is not the ceo anymore, the new one is a person who pushed for 2NE1's (one of the groups that made yg popular along with bigbang; 2 are soloists now idk about the others) disbandment instead of giving them new songs or stuff like that. which was dumb because a lot of people still were super into them at the time
yeah! gmldkjsfal klre i have fallen in love with another boygroup
i am currently obsessed with their dance cover for Famous Rocky's song Pick It Up lol
not adding the video to the wiki cuz it's a kinda inappropriate song (even though they censored the bad words)
i really want ateez to win roty for mama, like i love txt but idk fjakldsfkaj it's really hard being multi during voting season like i can't decide if i want bwl soty or fancy soty since i absolutely loved them both
So idk if you know this, but today, Taehyung posted on Weverse about how he was having trouble falling asleep, so an ARMY said that he should look at pictures of Jungkook because "Taehyung oppa loves Jungkook oppa." Tae responded by telling the ARMY to basically get her mind out of the gutter. I'm proud of Tae for telliing the delusional shipper to shove off, but this situation shows that shippers are noticed by BTS (and other idols) and it makes them feel uncomfortable.
BTS are really like brothers, and seeing such comments probably makes them feel SUPER uncomfortable. Personally, I "ship" Sope but as best friends. For the people who ship the idols romantically, some of these people are seriously cringe-worthy and disgusting. They're like "oh my gosh these two members looked at each other, so they MUST be dating!!!" Like can you not let these guys/gals live their lives?
What's even worse are the people who ship idols from different groups that don't even interact (BTS/ Blackpink members or BTS/ Twice members). How delusional do you have to be to think that these idols are involved in a relationship when they barely even talk to each other??
I feel super bad about this because it may make them feel like they shouldn't show their love for other members, which sucks.
