Okay so y’all know who Fallon Vacker is right? Fallon Vacker at the moment is just some random character Alden keeps going to for advice, right? He’s an ancient. But so far he’s been stubbornly unhelpful- why would Shannon have him in the story if he was never going to be helpful? That’s something her editor would DEFINITELY catch. And then you have Alvar and his thing at the end of Neverseen- check out these quotes Nightfall, Page 612: “I can also run it by the former Lumenarium guards,” Alden offered. “And Fallon as well. He wouldn’t let me in the last time I visited, but he did respond a few times when I shouted through the door.”
Page 622, Neverseen: “How could you?” Biana asked. (About Alvar’s involvement in Wylie’s kidnapping) Alvar’s expression softened when he looked at his sister. “You’ll understand, someday, when you see the Vacker legacy for what it is.”
Okay so: I think Fallon has been so unhelpful because he didn’t want them into the cache, because BECAUSE he was an ancient, he knows what happened with the Elvin-human war and that it was really Vespera’s fault. He was an ancient, and a councillor, so he knows that, and he probably knows that’s what’s in the caches, and is protecting it. And remember, Fallon is so reclusive because of all his memories. Maybe because the guilt is too much for him to handle. But what about when the Council releases the truth about their history? They say that will happen soon in nightfall Alden was asking him if he knew anything about the caches passwords So- the book is called Flashback, and Shannon said it will be very memory based. Two things have been left unanswered for a while: what’s in the caches, and what is Sophie’s stolen memory? I think the caches will be opened in this one. And this is when Fallon finally becomes helpful. When he hears they already know about the Vespera thing, and he can’t protect them from the past anymore, maybe he’ll be more helpful so that they can prevent the past from repeating itself. Also, there’s the Vacker Legacy hovering in the background- what is that? She’s gonna have to bring it up sooner or later. I think Fallon knows about this. That could add to his guilt and reason for hiding. He knows what either he did or what his ancestor did. Think about Alvar’s quote. It suggests that part of the reason he joined the Neverseen was the Vacker Legacy. What if one of the Vackers was in on Vesperas plan, maybe working with her? So in short, I think Fallon knows how to open or something about opening the caches.
It says how she finnaly felt on page 283 in nightfall it says"And strangely, her balance wasnt thrown off. If anything it was improved. Her feet seemed to instinctively know how to move, making tiny adjustments to keep her legs steady." I have a feeling that this is connected to her genetic modification because when she asks if that is how normal people feel when walking blur acts as if its completely normal.
caprise redek has something to do with the black swan and neverseen so here's a theory about her past. caprise was part of the neverseen and went to the black swan as a double agent.she then swithched to the black swan after realizing they were the good guys.she donated her DNA to project moonlark while at the black swan.after a while the neverseen pushed her off a balcony resulting in her head injury so she couldn't reveal anymore neverseen stuff.she "sacrificed'[fintan quote] a lot to keep marella away from her past life
This might be not relevant to all these comments but, I feel as though Sharon will probably make at least another book...I only think this because she might not un ravel all the mysteries in one, or maybe i'm just hopeful there will be another book ;-;
This is something I noticed and I wanted to see other peoples theories. If u look at Sophie's pin that she's wearing on the cover of Flashback it's different then the Ruwen pin. It might be the Vacker pin but if u look closely it isn't. What do u think this means
Yes, I know that Fitz mostly has it with Sophie...but there is still hope! Keefe you better keep your promise from the bonus scene on Nightfall! Though. It seemed on one of the books (forgot which one heh sorry) when I was reading it, it seemed like on one part that Fitz ALMOST kissed Sophie. When Keefe inturrupted. I thanked the book lol. SOPHIE YOU MUST REALIZE YOU LIKE KEEFE. Biana though...O-O
Nobody thinks it is random that we keep coming back to the idea that humans are violent and destructive, right? And when Fintan asks "what do we do with..." them, isn't it basically implying that he ha no use for humans and may very likely want them destroyed? So I think Flashback ay have something to do with the Neverseen trying to turn other species against humans, possibly leading to a larger scheme.
I think that he just wants them imprisoned. In one of the books, someone (I forget who!) says there was a campaign to relocate humans, because they were tired of staying in the shadows. Maybe that was Fintan's idea?
Does anyone think that Grady might join the Neverseen? In one of the books (I forgot which) Fintan was talking about wanting a Mesmer on their side and that he would get Grady to join the Neverseen. And I think there might actually be some logic to that. We all know that Grady cares a lot for Sophie and what If Fintan threatens Sophie? What if he tells him that Sophie will be harmed if he does not join the Neverseen? Grady would do anything for her which means that he might also join the Neverseen for her. I know that it’s probably a long shot but tell me what you guys think.
That's a really good theory. I don't think he will join, though. In Flashback, after Keefe goes and brawls with Dimitar, and Sophie is talking to Lady Gisela, Lady Gisela askes where Keefe is and Sophie says that Giselas games are slowly breaking him. Gisela responds with,"Sometimes things have to break before they get stronger. Does that sound creepy to anyone else?
Anything on parents I think it would be Oralie it would cause a huge problem explain why she is always on Sophies side and Forkle said her parent knew she was their child Shannon hares being perdictable -Karina the Telepath-

I was thinking: Sophie's parents will probably be revealed in Flashback, since all the fans are dying for it. And yes, Forkle said that Sophie doesn't know her parents, but he could always be lying. So, the obvious mom is Lady Gisela, because why in the world would she ask about Sophie so much? And Forkle wouldn't want to tell Sophie because we all know that Foster would be all sensitive and probably worry about it for ten whole chapters. But, no-one has ever thought about my theory for the dad... Alden. I mean, why would you look for someone you're not even sure exists for TWELVE YEARS if they weren't your kid. It would also explain the automatic connection Sophie had with four out of five Vackers, because she is one. And why would Alden dote on her so much if she wasn't his kid? Plus, in Exile, it would be crazy to take some random thirteen year old to a place where most people don't come back from and make them your freakin guide. I mean, who would do that? The only way he'd trust her that much was if she was his daughter.
