The Great Fitzphie Sleepover was when in Flashback, Sophie and Fitz were attacked by the Neverseen and got serious injuries involving echoes and shadowflux. They ended up having to stay in the Healing Center for a long time. This time period, which took up much of Flashback, was dubbed “The Great Fitzphie Sleepover” by Keefe.

After Umber attacked Sophie, Fitz, Grizel, and Sandor, Dex and Wylie rushed Sophie and Fitz to the Healing Center. They both almost died. Elwin couldn’t get them to respond to any medicines. When he found out they’d been attacked by shadows, he hailed Tam on his Imparter. Tam called the shadows, later revealed to be shadowflux, out of them, and they finally began to recover. Eighteen hours later, Sophie woke up.

Elwin administered lots of elixirs, medicines, balms, and other treatments to help Sophie and Fitz recover, which they did. However, they ended up having echoes, Sophie in her hand and head, and Fitz in his heart.
