Dex and Stina or Destina is the romantic/platonic pairing of Dex Dizznee and Stina Heks. They started out strongly disliking/hating each other, but then they learned to get along (mostly), especially after they both joined Team Valiant.

Book 1: Keeper of the Lost Cities[]
- Stina very strongly dislikes Sophie. This could be because she is jealous that Dex likes Sophie. This is supported by the fact that Stina becomes less hostile to Sophie after Book 6: Nightfall when Dex and Sophie realize that they're better off as friends.
- Stina and Dex often have "prank wars" and don't like each other. This could be because they don't want to reveal their true feeling for one another.
Book 2: Exile[]
- Dex curls his hands into fists as he hears Marella gossiping and talking derisively about Stina’s family. He wanders off looking upset as Marella keeps gossiping.
Book 4: Neverseen[]

- Stina and Dex make fun of Sophie in a friendly way together.
- When Stina falls into the mud, Dex laughs at her and says that the day might therefore be the greatest moment of his life.
- Stina retaliates by dunking him in the mud which ensues a mud fight.
- Stina lunges with Biana to hold up Dex as his knees buckle due to enhancing.
- Dex and Stina are convinced together that their epic gadgets and fighting skills are what made their team win.
