“These scars are a part of me now, and I’ve decided I’m done pretending they’re not.”

—Biana Vacker, in Book 7: Flashback

Biana Amberly Vacker (pronounced Bee-ah-nuh Am-ber-lee Vack-er) is the youngest child and only daughter of Alden and Della Vacker. She has two older brothers, Alvar and Fitz. Like her mother and oldest brother, she is a Vanisher, which she manifested as in Everblaze. Biana is one of the only elves who possesses the ability to hide from gnomes, which she figured out with the help of Calla in Neverseen. Biana is a close friend of Sophie and is currently a fealty-sworn member of Black Swan. In Legacy, Biana is a Level Four prodigy at Foxfire.

In Legacy, she was appointed as a Regent and became a part of Team Valiant. Her symbol is a kelpie, and her color and jewel are purple. When Sophie was coming up with nicknames in Unlocked, Biana's was Sparkles.

History[]

Pre-Keeper[]

Biana was born to Alden and Della Vacker as their third child and only daughter. As noted in Unlocked, elvin families tended to avoid having more than a single child, thinking doing so would be "a touch scandalous." Fortunately, coming from a prestigious family, Biana wasn't faced with much scorn.

As a Vacker and the younger sister of Alvar and Fitz, Biana was showered with praise constantly. She lived up to her family name with her beauty, accent, and astounding school performance. However, she also faced a tremendous amount of pressure and expectation, due to being the youngest Vacker child. One of the many pressures she had to face was what ability she'd receive, and whether it would match her siblings' talents in terms of strength.

At Foxfire, she was extremely popular. It was stated that she had exceptional grades as well. Because of this, Marella Redek called her "Princess Prettypants." It is unknown whether other students shared similar thoughts.

Biana, despite her fame, didn't have many friends and acquaintances. Most of the people who attempted to befriend her were only students wanting to get closer to her famous family, especially girls who wanted connections to Fitz. Maruca, one of Biana's only friends, most likely didn't share this particular agenda. It's unknown whether or not they had a genuine friendship, but it was implied they were close.

Book 1: Keeper of the Lost Cities[]

Biana is first seen after Sophie, Fitz, and Alden return from Atlantis. She is in Everglen's main room and appears to be shouting at herself, though she is really yelling at her mother, who is invisible due to her vanishing. After Alden tells the family that Sophie will not stay with them, she is the only one who seems relieved. Until the middle of the book, Biana dislikes Sophie. However, the day after the Ultimate Splotching Championship, she invites Sophie to Everglen, where they play Base Quest with Fitz and Keefe. After this, they become good friends. For Midterms, Sophie buys Biana a charm bracelet, and Biana gets her a set of edible lip glosses. Biana hugs Sophie after she and Fitz find out that Sophie's adoption has been canceled. However, on the day of Sophie's kidnapping, Stina Heks reveals to Sophie that Biana's old friend Maruca told her that Alden forced Biana to be friends with Sophie so he could keep a closer watch on her. Sophie is devastated and leaves Foxfire in tears. While hiding in the cliffs bordering Havenfield, she and Dex are kidnapped. Biana attends both of their Plantings and is said to be very upset about both of their "deaths." She, Fitz, and Keefe leap to Lumenaria after Sophie transmits her location to Fitz, and Biana is the one to bring Elwin to Sophie, saving her life. After Sophie wakes up at Everglen two weeks later, Biana bursts into tears and hugs Sophie, saying that while she originally became Sophie's friend because of Alden, she truly wants to be her friend now. Sophie forgives her. Biana is also present at Sophie's Tribunal at the end of the book and invites Sophie to stay the night at Everglen. However, Sophie declines, saying that she wants to go back to Havenfield.

Book 2: Exile[]

At the beginning of the book, Biana and Sophie started off on a new foot and become great friends, but after Alden's mind is broken due to his guilt about Prentice, Biana becomes depressed. She is incredibly upset and blames Sophie for Alden's mind breaking. For much of the book, she is seen only crying or standing mutely with her brother, Fitz. When Sophie attends Alden's funeral, Biana is angry, thinking that she shouldn't be there. At the end of the book, before Sophie heals Alden's mind, Biana forgives Sophie, hugging and apologizing for being angry at her.

Book 3: Everblaze[]

In Everblaze, Biana manifests as a Vanisher, like her mother, Della, and her oldest brother, Alvar. She manifests at an earlier age than Alvar and is stronger, learning to fully disappear and reappear quicker than Alvar did, according to Della. Her newfound ability leads her to become more confident in her capability to help Sophie out when it comes to the danger she often faces, and she offers to help Sophie with her "secret projects". After the battle at Mount Everest, she decides to join the Black Swan along with her friends.

Book 4: Neverseen[]

Biana joins the Black Swan after running away from the Lost Cities with Sophie and her friends, showing she is more than just beauty. While going to Alluveterre, Biana successfully hides Della's presence in the group as a stowaway until they are forced to go underwater. At this point, Della is discovered and proves to be a valuable asset to the Black Swan throughout the rest of the series. In the Black Swan, Biana helps with deciphering codes. After she and her friends break into Exile, she and Fitz are the first Vackers to ever be sent to Exillium, where they are both placed in the Left Hemisphere.

Book 5: Lodestar[]

Discovering the symbols of the Lodestar Initiative and everything having to do with the lodestar was challenging, but it showed how patient Biana is. Biana also contributed to their investigations and was very observant because she seeks clues which other people might not notice.

Book 6: Nightfall[]

Biana was crucial to sneaking them into places with Sophie's enhancing, giving herself the so-called nickname, "the secret weapon." She could make up to two people vanish aside to herself with physical contact while Sophie enhanced her. She also got severely injured by the shards of a mirror when she attempted to attack Vespera and Fintan by herself, and now had permanent scars because of this incident. As described by Fitz, half her face was shredded by Vespera.

Book 7: Flashback[]

In Flashback, she invited everyone to training sessions after Foxfire. She is shown to be a major supporter of Sophie and Fitz's relationship, and long knew of Sophie's crush on Fitz. She told Sophie that she knew Fitz had a crush on her since at least when they ran away to the Black Swan. During the Fitz Short Story, she kept urging Fitz to confess his crush on Sophie and also stated that she had a crush on someone who wasn't Keefe. Throughout the book, she was, like Fitz, rather bitter and irritated with her parents because she didn't want anything to do with Alvar. However, unlike Fitz, she was more willing to forgive her parents and try to understand their reasoning.

Book 8: Legacy[]

In Legacy, Biana became part of Team Valiant, led by Sophie, and is shown to care about her when she supports part of the Council's reason for appointing her to the team — that Sophie had been drifting away from her lately. She helped Sophie in her search for her biological parents, even going as far as to schedule private meetings with their suspects and offering to continue assisting her even when she was evidently busy, claiming that she could handle it.

Book 8.5: Unlocked[]

In Unlocked, Biana has a portion in the series guide titled "Biana's Style File" that shows off several articles of elvin clothing, with captions by her. In the Novella, Biana comes with Fitz and Sophie to Solreef to visit Glimmer and Tam. Fitz makes a comment that she's a "big fan of silver bangs," hinting that she likes Tam and Biana nearly retaliates with her own remark on crushes (hinting that Fitz likes someone, perhaps still Sophie), but she stops herself. She gives Fitz and Sophie a pep talk about how they couldn't possibly do more with how unprepared their lessons and world had made them. She appears to dislike Glimmer during their conversation. She doesn't go along with Tam, Glimmer, and Sophie to the Neverseen's storehouse out of fear of her setting off their sensors. Biana appears to disapprove of Sophie's choosing to burn the facility down, inciting fear.

Book 9: Stellarlune[]

In Stellarlune, Biana, like the majority of her friend group, disapproved of Sophie's decision to burn the Neverseen warehouse. She shows distrust in Rayni but is much less suspicious and angry than others, including her brother and Linh. Later on, she finds the starstone that Cyrah had given her many years before, and it is what leads Sophie and the others to the location of Elysian.

Personality[]

  • Loyal
Biana

Biana is very loyal. She is always there for her friends. She can be wary of people she doesn't know very well or trust – like how she treated Sophie in the first book—but once she gets to know someone, Biana will become an extremely devoted friend. She would risk her life to save her loved ones when she does get the chance. Biana hates being left out and wants to help Sophie in any possible way. She may be in Fitz's shadow, but that doesn't stop her from trying to shine. In Neverseen, when Sophie and Fitz jump off the cliff to go save someone who might be in danger, Fitz stated that Biana had "tried to come too, but [their] coach grabbed her" before she could succeed.

  • Bright

Biana is a bubbly and outgoing person to be around. She's a talkative elf and is usually the one to spark a conversation, gossip about rumors, or talk about the latest trends. Biana is the type of elf who will always try to find the good in a bad situation. She is also shown to be intelligent and can prioritize, multi-task, and handle her responsibilities well. An example of her intelligence is in Neverseen, when they are in the forest with Ruy, she thought to throw her monocle at the force field, causing a white fire that tore through it. Biana was in the Left Hemisphere at Exillium, showing her level-headedness and ability to think logically. She is also very responsible.

  • Hard Working

Biana is very hard-working. She always wants to help and will work hard on a task until it is done. In Legacy, Biana becomes part of Team Valiant. Every time Sophie gives her an assignment, she puts all her effort into it and gets it done before Sophie even has time to check in with her on how it's going. When Sophie resets her abilities in Legacy, she stays on task and does the work for Sophie while Sophie heals.

  • Intelligent

Biana is a very intelligent elf. She is very diligent and knows how to manage her time. She's quick to shoot a comeback at someone if they mess with her, and this takes a lot of wit. She handles her responsibilities incredibly well and is shown to have a calm head under pressure, as shown in any book where they face the Neverseen. All though in Flashback, she is said to be leaning on Dex and Tam when Fitz is punching Alvar, she quickly recovers from her initial shock and fights bravely. She figures out many of the Black Swan's or Neverseen's puzzles and clues, and she is able to pick up on new skills quickly and retain information.

  • Brave
Biananeverseen

Biana is very brave. In Everblaze, Biana tackled Lady Gisela when she tries to take Keefe. She almost falls off a cliff, but she still takes the risk. As shown in Nightfall, she single-handedly took on Vespera and Fintan, the two leaders of Neverseen. She gets brutally injured but still claims that some risks are worth taking. Biana may act feminine most of the time, but she is not a delicate elf and is willing to fight to the death in order to save the people she loves. Confident and bold, Biana isn't afraid to tackle challenges, and have some fun along the way.

  • Wary

Biana is also shown to be a wary and suspicious elf, as many people have tried to use Biana to get to Fitz, which is why she disliked Sophie at first—assuming she was going to do the same thing. In addition, since she's a Vacker, so everyone wants the best from her, and some would even use her just to benefit themselves. When nervous or worried, Biana twists her fingers as if she's hoping for something— like how Sophie pulls out her eyelashes.

  • Confident

Even though Biana has gone through many challenges, such as her fight with Vespera, she stays confident in herself, mainly in her beauty in style, which at first made Sophie believe her to be vain and bratty. She is good about not letting anybody break her, and always being true to herself and friends. Biana has been found to use her confidence in games like bramble where she has been known to knock people into the lake.

  • Hopeful/Optimistic
10 - Sophie hangs out with Biana

Although Biana has had many difficulties and sadness in her life, she is hopeful and optimistic that someday, things will change, the Neverseen will be defeated, and Alvar will come back. This is also hinted in the fact that Biana is very courageous. She never gives up in what she believes in, and pretty much does everything to open and show it to the world.

  • At times, Mean Spirited

At times of distress, Biana tends to treat people unkindly or unfairly, like she treated Sophie in Keeper of the Lost Cities, mainly because she thinks that people use her to "get to her brother."

  • Observant

Throughout the series, there were multiple instances where Biana noticed small details that no one else managed to find. Though she has no photographic memory, she seems to remember things very well, nonetheless. She pays close attention to those around her and, as a result, is able to know what others need even when they don't state so explicitly.

Character development[]

Biana appears early on in the first book of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series. Over the books she has had major character development. She is seen as annoying or shallow when she is first brought into the books. She tries to stop Sophie and Fitz from being friends. Then she becomes friends with Dex, Marella, Tam and Linh, and others who did not have lives as fortunate as hers. Biana become fierce and rave throughout the series, she faces down with Vespera and gains many scars but feels no shame. She is no longer shallow, making friends with the most unlikely elves. Biana had some issues with her personality, but by the time she was needed, she was ready to help her new friends, even by sacrificing herself willingly to the cause against the Neverseen

Appearance[]

Screen Shot 2020-05-21 at 12.32

Biana is strikingly beautiful and alluring—setting a higher standard in appearance compared to other young female elves. According to Sophie, she is "drop-dead gorgeous." She has long, wavy chocolate brown hair like her mother and oldest brother, Alvar, and bright teal eyes, just like Fitz and Alden's. She also has full, heart-shaped lips like her mother. In her family portrait she has earrings on, but her ears are not pierced, because elvin earrings don't require pierced ears. She is described to have fair skin and beautiful, sculpted features. It is also described in the first book that she has all of her parents' best features combined in the best possible way.

Many boys at Foxfire are said to have crushes on her based on her appearance, such as Jensi. Sophie describes her as being very flawless, glamorous, and perfect. She also thinks that Biana takes after her mother, Della Vacker, who is also very stunning. Unlike Sophie, she prefers "girly" things such as fancy dresses, makeup, and other beauty accessories, which make her look even more beautiful. Biana adores dressing up Sophie and giving others, including Iggy and Dex, makeovers that suit her style more than others. Biana has a section in Book 8.5: Unlocked titled "Biana's Style File" which talks about Elvin clothing like gowns and jerkins. In Everblaze while cleaning out Jolie's closet she expressed an interest in vintage styles.

In Nightfall, Vespera appears to have pushed Biana into a mirror. This led to glass shards leaving thin scars all over the left side of her torso and face, including her neck, shoulder, and arms. In the first half of Book 7: Flashback, Biana wore clothes with long sleeves to cover the scars; however, she stopped in the middle of the book, declaring that she was done pretending that the scars weren't a part of her. Later in Book 8: Legacy, she proudly shows her scars in The Seat of Eminence, and does not flinch when Stina points them out.

Special Ability[]

Being a Vanisher, Biana has the power to bend the light, so it looks like she is invisible. She uses this ability as an advantage to sneak away from her goblin bodyguard, Woltzer, and spy on Fitz. When enhanced by Sophie, she can make up to three people (including Sophie and herself) invisible with her. This is handy when it helps the group sneak into Lady Gisela's Nightfall during Nightfall. Biana sees her mother as a role model, who is exceptionally skilled in vanishing. Biana can hide from gnomes; so far, she is one of the only Vanishers that we know of that can do so, other than her brother, Alvar Vacker.

Relationships[]

Match Status: Unregistered

Fitz Vacker[]

  • (Older brother)

Fitz is Biana's older brother. She is always described as Fitz's younger sister and hidden in his shadows like what people perceive of her mother Della, but in truth, she has a unique personality and she doesn't need her brother to shine. In Keeper of the Lost Cities, she explains that many girls try to become friends with her to get to Fitz so she's quite wary, slightly showing how she cares for her brother. When Sophie and Fitz returned from the Healing Center (When they were injured by the Great Splotching Championship), she hugs Fitz briskly in worry. Fitz revealed to Sophie that he put Fart a la Carte in Biana’s breakfast before her Level 1 Ceremony, giving her a case of really bad farts. In Neverseen, when Fitz is injured during the fight at Exile, she helps with his treatment by providing him with something to vomit in even though she was disgusted. In Nightfall, Fitz becomes extremely worried at his sister's sudden disappearance and was distraught when they found her in a pool of blood and sharp shards. When Biana claimed that she was okay, Fitz shouted that "half of her face was shredded." Fitz is described as being very protective of Biana, however, at the same time, the two siblings are known to tease each other a lot. For example, in the Fitz Short Story at the end of Flashback, Biana dubbed Fitz "Chandelier Head" because he got stuck in a chandelier while trying to use his crutches in Everglen.

Alvar Vacker[]

  • (Eldest brother/Enemy)

Alvar is Biana's eldest brother who is also a Vanisher. He's the one who tells her about what happened to her father Alden in Exile. In Neverseen, after the crash of the bridge in Ravagog, Biana screams hysterically when she doesn't see Alvar and hugs him tightly when he reappears. In Neverseen, when Alvar is revealed to be one of the longest-standing members of the rebel group, the Neverseen, Biana is deeply hurt and asks him "How could you?" and his expression softens. At Lady Gisela's Nightfall, the group found Alvar cut up and bruised. Biana, while using her telekinesis to bring him out, banged him against every wall, showing her distaste for him joining the Neverseen. In Flashback, she warmed up to Alvar when he lost his memories quicker than Fitz. but goes back to hating him once he recovers his memories. In Legacy, Biana is silent when Sophie said she let Alvar go. Although Biana's reaction to her eldest brothers' betrayal is not as hostile and public, it is clear how much his life choices affect and torture her, especially after his relapse at the troll hives.

Della Vacker[]

  • (Mother)

Della is Biana's mother. Biana looked incredibly like her mother because they both look glamorous, and they have the same long, wavy chocolate brown hair. They both like to shop, are described to be beautiful, and are Vanishers. Biana is revealed to respect Della a lot in Neverseen, and she wishes she could one day be as good as her mother at vanishing. She also has a special relationship with her mother.

Alden Vacker[]

  • (Father)

Alden is Biana's father. He made her befriend Sophie so that he could watch over her. When his mind was broken she became very sad and would not talk to anyone. It is shown that she loves him very much, especially in Neverseen, when she wraps Alden in a big hug after the flood ordeal in Ravagog.

Sophie Foster[]

Sophie is Biana's closest female friend and vice-versa. She originally became friends with Sophie because her father told her to, but then she begins to like Sophie. When Stina tells Sophie that Biana was friends with Sophie just because Alden told her to, Sophie became very angry at Biana and stormed away before she was able to apologize. She was able to make it up to Sophie soon afterward. Sophie has borrowed some of Biana's dresses a couple of times. They usually play Base Quest along with Fitz and Keefe.

When Alden's mind was broken, Biana refused to speak to Sophie, along with her brother, Fitz. Right before Alden was healed, however, Biana apologized for her actions, saying that she didn't mean to hurt Sophie. The two become friends again.

In Everblaze, when Sophie comes to visit Everglen, she is surprised to find out that Biana is a Vanisher. Later, she convinces Sophie to let her into her "Black Swan problems". While Sophie was being sentenced to the ability restrictor, Biana was hidden in Magnate Leto's office as a witness to all their friends. She heard all the ostensible statements the Councillors directed straight to Sophie and the Black Swan. She also witnessed what Sophie bravely did when the Councillors threatened Dex and his family. When Sophie is planning on escaping from the Lost Cities to hide with the Black Swan, Biana is one of her friends who willingly accompanies her on the journey.

During Neverseen, Biana accompanies her to the neutral territory of Brackendale. When they accidentally bump into one of the members of the Neverseen, Ruy Ignis, she threw her Black Swan pendant at the force field he had created and distracted him so that the two of them could escape. Biana is always there for Sophie to talk to.

She has expressed that she hates her friends using her to get near her brother Fitz, but she knows of Sophie's crush on him and is a full supporter. She said in Flashback that they were perfect for each other and often teased Fitz for not making his move.

Lady Sassyfur[]

Lady Sassyfur is Biana's stuffed animal companion. Originally named Betty-the-Yeti by Elwin, Biana changed her name to Lady Sassyfur. Elwin gave Lady Sassyfur to her during her time spent healing from her injuries from her fight with Vespera.

Jensi Babblos[]

Jensi is Biana's friend. He seems to admire Biana a great deal, and he may have a crush on her. He doesn't see her anywhere other than at Foxfire usually, but he has expressed concern when she isn't there and is very happy and excited for her when she manifests as Vanisher. However, Biana doesn't seem to return his feelings.

Keefe Sencen[]

Keefe is Biana's friend, though some believe that Biana has a crush on him. This fact is often perpetuated by Biana herself. He usually plays Base Quest with her, Sophie, and Fitz. Keefe says he once kissed Biana "mostly on the cheek" for a dare because Biana turned her head at the last moment. In Neverseen, Keefe drapes his arm around Sophie, and Biana just stares at it, possibly in jealousy. Biana is holding Keefe's arm on the cover of Neverseen, in fear. Biana blushes a bright pink when she announces that she agrees with Keefe about the naked statue, which may be because of the statue itself or just the fact that she's agreeing with Keefe. In Nightfall, Sophie believes that Biana's small crush on Keefe is starting to fade, although she has no evidence of this happening. Keefe admits to flirting with girls around her to give her a subtle hint that he isn't interested. Later, Biana says that sometimes you just "have to admit that what you want just... isn't going to happen," which Sophie suspects to mean that she realizes Keefe doesn't like her. Later, Biana seems to not care or be jealous when Keefe flirts with Sophie. She doesn't quickly agree with whatever he says, evidence that her crush is fading or has already faded.

Maruca Chebota[]

Maruca was Biana's best friend until Biana became friends with Sophie. She told Stina the reason Biana became friends with Sophie, which temporarily ended their friendship after Stina told Sophie that reason. In Lodestar, Maruca seems to want her friendship with Biana back but doesn't make a move to change that, and Biana said that if she truly wants to be friends with her again, she had to accept her friendship with Sophie. As of Legacy, they work together and are allies.

Dex Dizznee[]

Dex is one of Biana's closest friends. In Lodestar, they were both left out of a mission and became even closer because of it. In Lodestar, Biana gives Dex a makeover but not for anyone else. In Nightfall, Biana gives Dex an encouraging pep talk that Dex seems to enjoy. In Legacy, they seem to be growing even closer to each other. There has been a lot of hints that Biana and Dex have crushes on each other. They are very close to each other, spend lots of time together, and even hold hands in Legacy. This could have been because Biana was trying to comfort Dex, but Sophie notes that they are still holding hands after Dex recovers from his initial shock. Biana always tries to make Dex feel better and is very protective of him. This could indicate a future relationship between the two.

Tam Song[]

Tam has shown to have possible feelings for Biana, and Biana has shown the same. In Neverseen, after Keefe told him that the Foster Fan Club wasn't going to be accepting him, he flushes and "stole a glance" at Biana after he assured Sophie he was not romantically interested in her at all. It is also stated by Linh that Tam likes brunettes. Other than Fitz, Biana is the only brunette in the group. The two share a possible romantic moment in Nightfall, when Sophie, Tam, and Biana bring Alvar to Choralmere. Biana paints silver bangs on Tam's mother's portrait of him. When he sees this, he grins, and says that it's the best thing that he's seen in a long time. Later in Unlocked Fitz says Biana has been wanting to see Tam and teases her saying she is "a fan of silver bangs". In response, Biana only blushes, but does not deny it. Sophie notes that her red face could be confirmation, annoyance at Fitz, or both.

Linh Song[]

Although they have not had very many moments together, they still consider each other friends. Biana thinks Linh has really cool hair and accepts her to be a good friend. Several times when Tam tries to protect Linh from her power, Biana insists to him that he is underestimating his sister.

Stina Heks[]

Stina is Biana's frenemy, although they weren't enemies before Sophie's arrival. She is also the one who tells Sophie that Biana only became friends with her because Alden told her to. Stina has constantly been mean to people at Foxfire. Although they disliked each other, Stina and Biana are now friends, and both are members of Team Valiant.

Woltzer[]

  • (Goblin bodyguard)

Woltzer is Biana's assigned bodyguard. He often has many difficulties keeping up with her since Biana is known to vanish frequently, which makes his job many times harder. Woltzer often appears weary about having such a hard time to keep up with his charge.

Iggy[]

  • (Companion)

Iggy isn't Biana's pet, but she has shown that she adores and loves the mischievous little imp, and Iggy returns the feelings. In Neverseen, Biana asks Sophie if she can take care of Iggy and or let him sleep in her room. She also tries to turn the imp into a vegetarian, but it doesn't work very well. Biana is constantly dying Iggy's fur different colors using Dex's elixirs.

Marella Redek[]

When Sophie begins to neglect Marella, Biana insists on making up with her, renewing their friendship and remaining friends, while staying positive.

Trivia[]

  • The name "Biana" means "white" or "fair-skinned".
  • Her last name, Vacker, means "pretty" or "beautiful".
  • Biana is the youngest elf to get her nexus off.
  • As of Nightfall, Biana has scars on her neck, arms, and back from fighting Vespera. But she shows off the scars as a sense of power rather that something to be sensitive about.

—Biana Vacker, in Book 2: Exile

Character Bio by Shannon Messenger[]

Biana may seem like the Princess of Foxfire Academy—but don’t let the perfect hair and fashionable clothes fool you. Beneath the make-up and perfectly coordinated accessories is a fearless fighter. And while she may not have manifested her special ability when we first meet her, that never stops her from taking on Fitz and Keefe in a game of Base Quest, (and no, it’s not just because she thinks Keefe is cute—though that definitely *does* help). She’s also an incredibly loyal friend—once she gets to know someone—and will do whatever it takes to protect the people she cares about.[4]
