Argento is a star that emits a metal-toned light. It is somewhat difficult to detect in the night sky - enough to make Sophie Foster strain her photographic memory while searching for it. The light itself is either silver, gold, black, white, copper, or green. When aligned with Auriferria, Pennisi, Merkariron, Styggis, and Achromian, it forms two lines which point to Elementine. Mentioned in Book 1, it was on Sophie's star-bottling list.
