Spateswale is a river that at one point housed Lady Cadence's houseboat, Riverdrift. This river is the most direct path to Ravagog, which is the capital of Ogre territory. The water is described as being dark and choppy, and its many tributaries even choppier. This river is also home to pannoniasauruses, whom Lade Cadence has made friends with.
