In Tam's short story, Tam mentions that his room in the Neverseen hideout has a Sparkly Cat Statue. Tam wanted to smash the "stupid shiny cat" after he woke up from his concussion. He then sarcastically thanked Lady Gisela for the statue. Glimmer takes it with her after Tam came back from London, after arguing with Tam.
In Unlocked, when the Black Swan was taking away Glimmer's bag of possessions from when she was with the Neverseen, she shouts after them, "Don't you dare break my cat statue!", showing she has a strong liking for it.
Sentimental Value[]
The cat statue has some sentimental value, taking it was a major part of Glimmer and Tam's relationship. Glimmer seems very attached to it, and doesn't want it to be broken. Tam also has some memories involving the cat, most rather bitter. He wants to smash it, in fact. But of course, Glimmer won't let that happen. In fact, it has been shown that the cat statue might be Glimmer's Emotional Support Stuffed Animal—of a sort.
