The Sencen family used to be very powerful and known in the Elvin world, but they lost credibility after Lady Gisela was revealed to be a member of the Neverseen. Lord Cassius was said to be a big part of Elvin security. Keefe is part of the family, along with Lord Cassius, who is Keefe's father, and Lady Gisela, who is Keefe's mother. The Sencen family crest depicts "two jeweled hands holding a candle with an emerald flame."[1]
They have a huge home, described as a skyscraper, called Candleshade. Lord Cassius and Keefe currently live at the Shores of Solace, while Lady Gisela's current location is unknown.
History[]
In the books, it is described that Lord Cassius is cold and cruel, and is very critical of Keefe. To avoid his father, Keefe often goes to Everglen or Havenfield. It was also revealed in the series that Lady Gisela was a member of the Neverseen and was a criminal mastermind who played everyone to believe that she was a member of the nobility and nothing more.
Lord Cassius and Keefe have always had a rocky relationship, but Lord Cassius asked Keefe to come to live with him in Nightfall at Shores of Solace as part of a deal for information on Nightfall's location, though Keefe didn't want to. Another part of the deal was that Lord Cassius could join the Black Swan.
Lady Gisela was no longer considered a member of the Neverseen after King Dimitar's torture of her in Neverseen, which was apparently ordered by an elf, as revealed in Nightfall. Lady Gisela was spotted down by one of the neutral territories and a gnome named Amisi saw her tortured and being dragged away into a cave and thought to be dead. She worked, with requests for her own kinds of assistance, to help them find the Nightfall she created and rescue Sophie's parents; however, at the end of Nightfall, she formed/forced an alliance with Vespera.

Keefe's father, an Empath, and an Emissary, who tends to refer to Keefe as a disappointment. He is a member of the Black Swan. Lord Cassius is also said to have blonde hair and ice blue eyes, he and his son looking strikingly similar. Lord Cassius is very ridged and a member of the nobility.
Keefe Sencen[]
Lord Cassius and Lady Gisela's son, a Polyglot, and Empath. Black Swan member and was a member of the Neverseen.
Lady Gisela[]
Keefe's mother, a Polyglot and revealed to be a Conjurer in Stellarlune, and a former member of the Neverseen, who is shown to have separated with them in Stellarlune.
