Pterodactyls (Pterodactylus[1]) are winged flying creatures that are often classified with dinosaurs. There is a gnomish food, cravettels, which apparently look like blue peanuts. They are said to taste like pterodactyl to Verdi the Tyrannosaurus rex.
A Flareadon is a rare type of pterodactyl with fireproof hair, and the only type of pterodactyl described or encountered by any of the characters so far.
