Parent-Mentor Conferences are events that happen at Foxfire at the end of midterms and finals. The prodigies’ parents meet with their children's mentors to receive their grades. For every session a prodigy has, twenty minutes are provided for parents to talk with mentors. It is shown that it is very nerve-wracking for the students.
|Test||Percentage needed to pass|
|Midterms||75% or greater|
|Finals||80% or greater|
From Sophie’s perspective, most prodigies pass midterms and finals, although she did see a few kids crying and hugging their parents because they didn't make it. If a student does not pass or qualify for eight sessions, they will not be allowed to continue attending Foxfire.
