Mineral Baths are prepared for Sophie and Fitz by Elwin in Flashback. Although they are called baths, mineral baths are actually a yellow-green slime that is spread across bruises. Unfortunately, the substance smells like "rotting onions"[1] and Elwin insists that Sophie and Fitz do not want to know what it is made of. The purpose of a mineral bath is to put strength into damaged bones. Sophie describes the bath as "soaking in sunshine"[2], at a loss for words. It also helps her arm recover after a Neverseen attack.
