"You're kidding me right?" Frankie said. "After all the crap I put you through?" Her voice raised. "You are NOT doing this right now. Not after all that! You aren't making this all your fault, do you understand? The kids are terrified right now and you have the nerve to try and tell us to leave! Get over yourself and realize I'm here right now and that's good enough!" After she finished yelling she took a deep breath.
Steven gaped at her. “I don’t want you to leave! I want you to be safe, and I don’t know if you are, everyone I try to get near ends up getting hurt. Remember Elle? My childhood best friend? I tried to run away and live with her when I was 15, my father nearly murdered her.” he shook his head sadly. “I don’t want you to feel like you need to stay in a situation like this just for me.”
"And she still came up and hugged you and acted like everything was normal!" Frankie shouted. "I. Don't. Care! I left before and it was the biggest mistake of my life! Worse than getting with Austin. Worse than getting with Tyler! Because when I'm with you, I'm happy! Everything is ok again! I feel like.... Like everything bad in my past has disappeared. So stop blaming yourself and start seeing that us? We're here to stay! I would follow you to hell and back." Frankie looked him dead in the eye. "I already have really. And us being safe? Trust me, we aren't 'safe' anywhere."
Steven blinked rapidly. “I-I...thank you.” A silent tear fell down his face. “I just couldn’t take it if any of you were to get hurt. I’d hate myself if you got hurt and it was my fault.
I’m not used to having people get close to me.”
Topher looked over at Stevie. She was staring out of the window.
"Can I stay with grandma?" Topher asked.
Frankie looked at him. "Why?"
Topher leaned closer to them where Stevie couldn't hear. "I made Stevie scared. I told her it was all going to be okay. It's my fault that all happened." He went silent for a moment. "I don't want to hurt her again."
Steven laughed to himself and went a little past the speed limit until they pulled into the emergency department. “Stay here.” he said. “I can get a wheelchair or something. Kids, stay and make sure she’s ok.” he sprinted inside. “Um my girlfriend is about to give birth?”
A nurse immediately grabbed a wheelchair. “Bring me to her.” she ordered, and Steven led her out to the car.
Topher took Stevie's hand. Stevie hesitated, still holding onto Steven. She looked up at him, her expression asking "Are you sure?" She hadn't liked being alone from either of them ever since the little incident.
Topher smiled at her. Stevie was occupied with Cal.
Frankie sighed. "Just... You know what to do. Make sure that the tinies eat their food at the right time and Stevie needs her meds soon. Everything's in the paper on the fridge!" Frankie called as she walked
“Oh right.” Steven dropped to one knee. “Frankie you’ve been with me through it all. You met my dad and still like me, you broke up with me and came back. You kissed some other guy to make me jealous, you let me adopt your kids. And through all of that I’ve come to grow really horribly attached to you. And I couldn’t really imagine living without you anymore. So my question is, will you marry me?” he presented a ring and waited for her response.
Frankie stared at him. "This is NOT happening," she breathed. "Oh my god this is not happening." Tears rose in her eyes. "Steven I'm too emotional for this!" She started crying. "of course!. I mean, yes I will."
(.....I don’t care either way. If you want to do the planning let’s do the planning, if you don’t care we can just say it’s at this pretty church with lots of windows, Stevie’s the bridesmaids, pulling Cal in a little wagon thingie with flowers and Topher carries the rings.
Elle giggled as she did the last of the makeup thingie. “You’re ready!” she shouted. “I cannot believe you’re marrying Steven, when he was in high school he was such a dork I never thought he’d get a girlfriend.”
Steven felt like throwing up as he finally reached the church.
On the outside, always looking in Will I ever be more than I've always been? 'Cause I'm tap, tap, tapping on the glass Waving through a window I try to speak, but nobody can hear So I wait around for an answer to appear While I'm watch, watch, watching people pass Waving through a window, oh Can anybody see, is anybody waving?
When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around Do you ever really crash, or even make a sound? When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around Do you ever really crash, or even make a sound? When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around Do you ever really crash, or even make a sound? When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around Do you ever really crash, or even make a sound? Did I even make a sound? Did I even make a sound? It's like I never made a sound Will I ever make a sound?

XD that’s how I was for a really long time too and I was finally like “whatever I want a Sokeefe human childhood friend AU” so I wrote one. That first segment was actually the first faniction I ever wrote and looking back it was TERRIBLE
Frankie shook her head. "Steven it wasn't-" she stopped. "i didn't..." She put her head in her hands. "I don't know." She didn't have control. She was small. She was nothing and anyone had control over her.
The words ran through her head.
She was small.
(my poor bby is in some sort of shock and memories of past relationships are running through her brain how could we do this?)
(Ooooh we can have her get mad and leave because she thinks he’s too overprotective and stuff and like 15 years later she can have a kid whose father never stayed around and the kid got a referral to him and she didn’t realize who he was
The lady looked at him. "she's just sleeping. Her blood pressure dropped dramatically. It takes a toll on people. And after the panic attack and the fight..." she paused. "if you don't mind me asking, what happened?"
i met hime when i was six and i'm pretty sure i had a crush on him but i LOVED his pet turtle and he was really goofy and stuff and if i'm remembering correctly a cute little kid
and i want to find him and meet up with him now that we're older)
The lady nodded. They reached the hospital and took Frankie in, putting her in the bed and keeping a watch on her. Frankie woke up slowly, not liking the surroundings. She buried her face in the pillow and tried not to cry.
