  • When I was active on here, I was part of the Me, Myself, and I club. We posted messages to ourself, and technically to whoever was stalking our message walls...It was supposed to be a semi-frequent thing

So, without further ado, to myself, myself, and maybe I guess someone else---An Update on My Life! Boring: I know. You might to leave before the obligation to keep reading kicks in.

-I still do all advanced classes, clubs most every day, and volunteering a few hours a week during the school year. I just took on treasurer for one of my clubs--It sounds like I do important things....But I literally just write receipts.

-I still manage to fit in a shocking amount of books and fanfic

-In the last few months of quarantine I've read (some are rereads): The Raven Boys, The Dream Thieves, Blue Lily, Lily Blue, The Raven King, Call Down the Hawk, All the Bright Places, Simon Vs. the Homosapien's Agenda, Leah on the Offbeat, All the Crooked Saints, Four Dead Queens, We Set the Dark on Fire, Ignite the Stars, Unwind, One of Us is Next, American Royals, Three Dark Crowns, One Dark Throne, All your Twisted Secrets, The Grace Year, The Princess and the Fangirl, Not Your Sidekick, Not Your Villain, The Perfect Escape, The 5th Wave, The Rules for Disappearing, Archenemies, Opal, The Odyssey, Romeo and Juliet, Alice: From Dream to Dream, Elgen Guard General Handbook, Michael Vey : Battle of the Ampere, The Dangerous Art of Blending In, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library, An Ember in the Ashes, The Cruel Prince, The Wicked King, The Queen of Nothing, City of Glass, Keeper of the Lost Cities: Flashback, Don't Read the Comments, and Make Your Bed (If you're not me: Recs. please.)

-^I'd like to dedicate both my (in)sanity and survival to the Online Library

-^And friends I guess, but definitely more the Online Library

-^^ao3 owns the blame for almost all my insanity

-I just started an instagram account for whatever art I so feel like drawing (translation: basically pure fanart) under  the pseudonym Katia...The fact that my first fanart was Biana reminded me to check on here--Should I link it? https://www.instagram.com/katia_song_/?hl=en I don't have digital arty tabletly stuff--So I did a pencil sketch and then used a computer keypad and photoshop to color it. (See below)

    BismuthBianaaaa

    -WHHAT ELSE?!!

-I feel kind of *really* typical rn---First I jump on the breadmaking bandwagon this quarantine, then I try weird hobbies, and finally I resort to making a basic time capsule through the online wiki I'm barely on

-Don't judge this (or do--I mean it's basically an awkward journal entry except online where people can read it--I'm basically asking for judgement :) (But not really I told you this would be boring and advised not reading it at the top) (This is your own fault)

    -Keep Keeperin'

    (:

    • I need to change that, I have more friends now. I only used to have a few, and that was kind of our inside joke for lack of a better word...

    • XD If elves and gnomes could trap it, I'm pretty sure that the humanity had no problem to do it. That's what my username is about. Of course, if it is free it's a nightmare for everyone.

I refuse to ship teenagers, but I suggest Brontalie if they drop out of the council or change the law.

    • My mistake--Your favorite animal is titled "NIGHTMARE TO ALL AND EVERY LAST LIVING AND UNLIVING THING™" not just "humanity's worst nightmare"...That certainly sounds more impressive at least.

Yeah, I understand that...Shipping can be kind of weird in general....When I say I ship something it often just means that I like the character's dynamic and want more scenes with them, not always that I want them together (There are a few exceptions, but not for this fandom). People shippng other people in real life has always been a big pet peeve of mine. I was on Team-Sophie-Get's-To-Choose for the longest time before Sokeefe grew on me. I've never actually considered Brontalie, but now, thinking about it, it could make sense.

    • ^Yeah, Dex said that his mom had a pretty big collection of human movies

^^ Also, maybe---But then again, I remember in one of the books Fitz showed Sophie a memory with a pigeon and some Italian boys, and he didn't know what they (the boys, not the pigeon) were saying... Maybe he just picked up English as it's pretty widespread/overly common american tourists are a thing... Idk, I haven't reread most the series in a year

Wasn’t it from human movies or something? It’s still a pretty big plot hole.

It can't be a plot hole, it was mentioned directly by Dex that he knows english and not french. Maybe the movies and music is the reason idk.

    • Yeah, those are some of my favourites. I'll have to think of others.

Hmm, I don't think I've read any short stories of hers. I'll check it out. No, I don't have Overdrive. Is it free? And I've had Michael Vey on my "authors-to-read" list, but I haven't gotten to him yet. Is his style good?

        Loading editor
    • Overdrive is free (the app is called Libby) and it still does have wait times, but it works really well. You have to use your regular library card though. I tried out some random other sites though too. If you live in NY/have an NY card you can get access to a lot of books via the NY Public Library App and regardless of where you live (as long as you pretend to live in MA) you can get aBoston Public Library digital card. Idk...

Richard Paul Evans is a pretty good author--Michael Vey was the series I followed obsessively before Kotlc and others. I discovered it when I was surprisingly little before I even read Percy Jackson or Harry Potter. It is one of the classics for me :)
