The Lodestar is one of the mirrors in the Hall of Illumination in Foxfire Academy. It reflects pure light. In Book 2: Exile, Sophie looks into it and faints. In Book 5: Lodestar, it serves as a guide to the Cimmerian, the mirror across, so that Neverseen members may successfully enter the hidden room with the Lodestar symbol, allowing them to leap to any of the sixteen hideouts.
