Lady Anwen is a Mentor at Foxfire, who was mentioned in the first book. With her Mentor title, it is shown that she is a member of the nobility, and has hence fit the requirements. Multi-specisial studies is the subject she teaches, which is shown through her instructing the prodigy, Sophie Foster. She is presumably quite old considering that she hadn't laughed so hard in 324 years until Sophie had burned a hole Lady Galvin's cape.
