The Key to Foxfire is a narrow scepter used during the Foxfire Principal inauguration. When inserted into a pedestal during the inauguration, the key causes orange sparks to rain throughout the amphitheater. Sophie notes the effect is meant to be breathtaking, but it reminds her far too much of the Everblaze; she notices that the Councillors also look queasy, implying they also were reminded. Then it is handed over to the new principal, to symbolize them taking the school under their guard.
It is said to have a glowing orange "F" shape on the end.
It is first shown in Everblaze when Magnate Leto becomes principal of Foxfire.
