Inflictor is a special ability that allows the elf with the ability to inflict pain and emotions onto someone else, both positive and negative. This ability has the capability to incapacitate others and is very rare. Because this ability can be dangerous, the Council monitor's Inflictors decides when they are allowed to use this ability. Sophie describes seeing colors in her peripheral vision before she used this ability.
Known Inflictors
Sophie discovers this ability in the first book when she is with Dex in Paris. In a different book, she learns that she can inflict positive emotions as well as negative emotions.
Councillor Bronte was the only Inflictor before Sophie manifested. He now acts as her Mentor and can only inflict negative emotions.
