Imps are extremely mischievous creatures that enjoy causing trouble. They have a venomous bite that can't kill an elf but can cause a lot of stinging and hurt. When imps are happy, they purr in a crackly way, and under the right circumstances, they can make great pets.

Imps are small creatures, approximately 6 inches tall, that can fit in your hands. They have furry ears, bat-like wings, horrible breath, noisome toxic-like farts, and extremely loud snores.

Iggy[]
Iggy is an Imp who is Sophie's pet, after she rescued him from the Verminion in Keeper of the Lost Cities. Initially, Iggy was gray in color but was dyed pink by Dex in Exile, dyed orange in Everblaze, dyed blue in Neverseen, dyed purple in Lodestar, green in Nightfall, sparkly yellow in Flashback, crimped ice blue in Legacy, teal and purple with black stripes in Unlocked, and galaxy colored fur dyed by Ro in Stellarlune. He is the currently the only named Imp in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series.
There was one other unnamed imp. Grady's imp was first mentioned in Keeper of the Lost Cities Book 1 and was never mentioned again. He says that he once had an imp, who trashed his treehouse as a kid, when he was trying to talk Sophie out of keeping Iggy.
