Halcyons are a species of birds which is used as the Level Two Foxfire mascot. In Dex's opinion, they are quite lame, as their only asset is being able to sense when storms are coming. As shown through their pin being blue jeweled, and their official picture it can be seen they blue feathers. Apparently, at the Opening Ceremonies, Level Two prodigies in halcyon costume look more so like "idiots" than the Level Threes.
