Gwynaura was one of the Neverseen's sixteen primary hideouts connected to the others by the Lodestar symbol. To use the Lodestar symbol at Foxfire, the shadows in the Cimmerian mirror have to be manipulated so that it curls into a never-ending spiral, creating a gateway into a hidden room. This hidden room is believed that it has been there ever since Foxfire was built and has a long-forgotten purpose. The floor of the hidden room has the Lodestar symbol with runes in another circle at the end of one of the rays, which reads out Valkonian, another solo star. To get to Gwynaura, a Shade has to step down on the pool of shadows that gather around the empty circle of the Gwynaura ray, and light leap themselves with the starlight absorbed by the shadows. It was compromised in Book 5: Lodestar due to the Black Swan. Specifically: Tam, Dex, Fitz, Biana, and Sophie.
