The Characters' Experiences with the Exam[]
- Keefe made a necklace for Lady Gisela instead of studying for his Foxfire Entrance Exam resulting in his dad, Lord Cassius getting mad at him.
- Tam Song scored "off the charts" on his entrance exam, with his sister, Linh Song, scoring even higher.
- Sophie didn't take the conventional entrance exam. Instead, Councillor Kenric, Councillor Oralie, and Councillor Bronte judged her talents and individually took a vote on if they should admit her. The vote was with Kenric and Oralie voting yes, and Bronte voting no.
