Dempsey is a prodigy at the the noble school of Foxfire whose last last name remains unknown. It can be noted that he was only briefly mentioned throughout the whole storyline of the first book. He is strong in telekinesis, as shown through the fact that he made it into the final four of the Ultimate Splotching Championship, where he was paired against Sophie Foster. Said to be quick on the draw, he manages to get the splotcher halfway to Sophie's face before it returns and pelts him, knocking him back a step. He appears wary when the victor of the match offers him a helping hand. At the time this prodigy was in level six, meaning that he is now in the Elite levels. His ability is unknown.
