Chasers are an Elvin food, mentioned in Flashback, that Elwin had Sophie eat while she is recovering from Umber's shadowflux attack. Sophie describes them as looking like a dead bug but tasting like a snickerdoodle. In Book 7: Flashback, Fitz feeds Sophie some when they are both recovering in the Healing Center.
