Candesia is one of the five unmapped stars. It has a pale, smoky glow and allows people to light leap underwater. the Black Swan gave Sophie some light from the star in Everblaze, so she can reach a meeting place. It is illegal to bottle it. Only the Councillors are supposed to know its exact location; however, Sophie Elizabeth Foster and select members of the Black Swan have this knowledge due to unknown reasons.

The Quintessence from Candesia is the weakest, but it's also the safest form to turn to and best for subtle shifts and changes.
