Brielle was a goblin, who in Lodestar, served as Grady's personal bodyguard. When the rogue ogres attacked Havenfield, Brielle fought off all of the ogres but one. Brielle died later in the fight sacrificing herself for Grady, Edaline, Cadoc, and Lady Cadence. Later, it was realized that the attack was focused on Lady Cadence and not Grady and Edaline.
Sophie attends Brielle's funeral in Gildingham. Brielle's body is aurified, which is a process of turning every cell in the body to gold. Her aurified form was later placed in the Hall of Heroes, in Gildingham, which is a great honor for those who serve in Queen Hylda's army.
