Breath Control is a skill used to control your breathing. This skill is taught to waywards who attend Exillium. A trick to breath control is to wiggle your toes to make it easier to distract yourself, a skill taught to Sophie by Keefe, after he learned it during his time with the Neverseen. Sophie holds the record in Exillium for holding her breath the longest, lasting an impressive 45 minutes. Kesler taught Dex breath control at some point before the series. Linh has a hard time with breath control as they practice under water which gives her anxiety but Sophie helps her get over it.
