Changes: Book 9: Stellarlune

On May 22nd, 2018, Shannon Messenger announced that there will be a ninth book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series. It is scheduled to release in November of 2021.^[1] The previous book is Legacy, which released on November 5, 2019. It will most likely include a Short Story, as the past three books (Book 6: Nightfall, Book 7: Flashback and Book 8: Legacy) have.

What We Know

The cliffhanger from Legacy will be resolved before Book 9 comes out.
New art will release with the coming of this book.
Most, if not all, of the questions we have will be resolved.
This may be the last book of the series. If Shannon Messenger does not have room/time to finish the story, there will be a tenth book.
There will be something super exciting that will come out in Fall 2020.
This book will ABSOLUTELY pick up right where LEGACY left off, resolving the cliffhanger from Book 8—and more! Shannon Messenger wouldn’t leave you hanging for TWO YEARS without knowing what happens next to your beloved characters, or giving you some HUGE reveals!
UNLOCKED will be told in a way that has never been done before in the Keeper of the Lost Cities books, and Shannon Messenger thinks the readers are really going to like it.
UNLOCKED will also have a lot of fun bonuses, including things some fans have been asking about for years.
Shannon Messenger can’t share EVERYTHING that will be in UNLOCKED with you right now (because she’s still working on it), but we will be informed.
