Here is chapter 13!!!
Chapter 13 - Sophie’s POV
“Sophie! Sophie! SOPHIE! Gosh, Sophie wake up!!!” Sophie groaned as someone went on shouting and shaking her. She opened her eyes to find a frightened and panicked Biana.
“What’s wrong? Did you lose your eyeliner or something? Let me sleep!” Sophie said, annoyed.
A hard slap brought her back to reality. “Come help us! Marella’s having this sort of fit! We NEED help! Instead you fall asleep like that crying when Marella literally could have died if the triplets hadn’t helped!” Sophie jumped out of bed, ashamed. Linh was already trying to hold Marella and she could hear others already running into the room.
From outside the room, someone shouted, “Someone call Livvy!”
“On it!” Replied Sophie and without wasting more time she did it. After a brief call, Livvy arrived to the ice cavern and poured a sedative down Marella’s throat.
She let out a sight. “This is not physical, I can’t do much. I’m not sure what’s going on. Sophie, you should check, in her mind I mean. It might not be safe for the others.” Protests erupted from around Sophie. Alden claiming it was too dangerous, Forkle demanding to be the one to check instead, and Fitz... was surprisingly quiet. Luckily, they all soon became quiet after Linh splashed them with water. In the face.
“Now, will you please let me say what I wanted too? Since like, five minutes,” Linh asked softly but sternly. She didn’t wait for an approval. “I think that Marella is just dealing with side effects of being almost a stabbed to death. Don’t you think there is some sort of trauma? You guys are smart, but please use your brain! I bet she was just having a rather realistic nightmare, well day-mare. We are also dealing with a bunch of pressure, stress and sadness. This is almost normal! I’m sure she’s not the only one not sleeping calmly!”
Mr Forkle looked even more stunned than the others in the room. “Ms Linh, how do you know all of that? It sounds strangely like what humans call physiology.”
Linh flinched and Tam roles his eyes. “Great job keeping your secret secret.” He said.
Mr Forkle raised an eyebrow. “You need to tell us, now. This could endanger the Black Swan, potentially.”
