Biana's POV
She stared at where Tam used to be. She sat on the tile floor. Everyone was gone. All she had wanted was a happy ending. All she wanted was an ending where she could be with the boy she fell for. The boy who had held her while she cried. The boy she had been so stupid to lose.
How could she be so stupid? How could she lose him?
As she stood up slowly and walked towards a tree. She realized that this was a memory in itself.
One day, when she had been sitting alone under the tree that she and Alvar used to climb when they were younger. She had seen the shadows grow darker and longer. But the dark no longer scared her, it reminded her of Tam. Whenever she thought of him, she would smile. Biana could only hope it was the same for him. So she sat there, watching as the shadows bent and grew, waiting for Tam's voice to fill her head once more.
"You're not seriously sulking here, are you?" His voice sounded sarcastic, and it made her smile.
Biana stood up and started to climb the tree. Once she got to the top branch, there was a little platform that her and her siblings used to sit on and watch the estate gardens. She called out Tam's name and after a moment, he appeared at the bottom of the tree
"Biana what are you doing?"
"C'mon Romeo. Can't you levitate?" She saw Tam scoff at the nickname and start to levitate up to the tree. Once he reached the platform, his hold seemed to slip on his levitating. He grabbed Biana's shoulders to steady himself and pulled her slightly closer once he stood on the platform and looked down.
"Youre not really scared of heights? are you?" Tam nodded his head violently and let Biana pull him towards the trunk of the tree so he'd have something sturdy to hold onto.
Biana leaned against it and watched as his usual edgy exterior faded. She felt the impusle to kiss him.
So that was what she did
