It’s the year XX62. Humanity has advanced far beyond how we have today, taking to the stars. Mankind has discovered sentient life on other planets, created weapons of great power, and cured diseases and illnesses once thought of as permanent. Humanity has advanced quickly. Too quickly.
One day, a race known as the Xanther declares war on all humanity for unknown reasons that still have yet to be discovered...
Several years have passed, and the war still continues. The rest of the universe has chosen to watch on neutrally, caught up in their own battles and personal affairs.
Humanity is losing.
However, everything may change. The tides may be turning, the war could be won.
The fate of mankind depends on the crew of the starship Starfall Polaris.
May fate smile upon you.

You will be declined/kicked if you use repeatedly use improper grammar, spelling, capitalization, etc.
You will be declined/kicked if your OC is deemed too powerful or a Mary Sue/Gary Stu. (The world does not revolve around your OC. Don’t make them the central focus of the roleplay for too long, have them be dramatic over random things, or have a tragic backstory.)
You will be declined/kicked if your OC is too unrealistic. Your OC can not be the ultimate combat master. Your 17-year-old OC probably isn’t going to be a general in the galactic army.
You will be kicked if you start out-of-character drama. Arguments should be kept strictly to debate threads and message walls.
It is not acceptable for your character to be shipped with someone they have known for two weeks. You may start with a crush, but don’t spend too much time on it. Relationships will be allowed if I see proper development in romance. For instance, if two characters become close friends after a month or so, then slowly start to view each other as a love interest, that’s fine. Two characters getting together because of love-at-first sight after a week is not fine. Also, check your ages. Please do not let a seventeen-year-old hook up with a twenty-two-year-old.
Do not make single posts such as “[Name] existed,” or “She breathed.” If nobody is interacting with your character, start an interaction yourself! -If you’ve read up to this point in the rules, mention your character’s favorite color in the personality section. Don’t bold it, italicize it, or let it be known as the password.-Don’t tell anyone else about what the password should be. Don’t just wait for someone to come up to you. That’s just a good way to let a roleplay die.
For goodness’ sake, I understand that a lot of you are trying to include LGBTQA+ diversity, and I appreciate that, but don’t force it. If you want to have a female OC, make one! There’s no need to force yourself to create a genderfluid character who’s pretty much always using she/her pronouns. If you want straight ships, that’s okay too, you don’t need to make your characters bi or pan. If you genuinely want your characters to be LGBTQA+, that’s cool. But if you just want your OC to be a heterosexual cisgender person, that is 100% okay. Chill out, guys. We love our LGBTQA+ pals, but don't let us influence you like that.
