Disclaimer: I have complained and complained about shipping roleplays. Now I'm starting one. Call me a hypocrite, if you want.
You are some of the most educated, intelligent, talented people on the planet- You are at the top of your field, whatever that may be. You also are from anywhere in the world. You have been invited to go to an island owned by a science corporation called AMOR Inc. who want you to be part of a scientific experiment to see what it really means to be in love, what it takes to fall in love, and whether or not being in love improves your life. There are some dates or experiences planned by AMOR Inc., but other than that, you're all on your own. Or you can be the single person judging everyone else.

Roleplaying is supposed to be a fun, enjoyable experience. It allows you to step into the shoes of your own characters, talk to others, utilize powerful magic, become whatever you want to become.
The problem here is that it’s hard to enjoy roleplaying when you have little miss “my name is crystal and im kind, shy, smart, and rlly sarcastic when i stand up for my friends. ALso my parents hate me because im more pretty then they are so like i became an assassin and have been one for seven years, but i still dont like killing ppl lol, also im depressed.”
Come on, people. Fix your grammar. Make your characters have backstories that are believable in that universe. Don’t make Mary Sues. Stop making your characters “shy, nice, kind, smart, funny, sarcastic.”
But no matter how hard I try to tell people in my roleplays, “Hey, could you use proper grammar?”, it never lasts.
This is why I’m implementing a new policy in my roleplays. If I know you don’t use proper gramar, use Mary Sues, have contradictory personality traits all the time, etc etc, or notice any of these things on your forms, I can and will decline your form. If we’re in the middle of the roleplay and I see, “rin walkd over to lily and asked, ‘r u okay?’”, I will kick you out of my roleplay until you can prove to me you can roleplay properly. And I won’t listen to your cruddy excuses, such as, “srry it was really late when I made that form.” No. Just no.
So if you ever want to participate in my roleplays again, those of you who do these things (You know who you are) better get your act together, because I’m not taking it anymore.
