Hello, I need you to persuade me to be on team Sokeefe. I am going to post this on the Sophie/Fitz page also. Page with the most reasons why to be on either team wins. (And yes, you can post multiple times.)

Y'all are going offf and i'm loving it, lol I don't have much time to write long paragraphs but sophie and keefe are just so much closer with eachother. Sophie is on a lot of stress and Fitz keeps adding on to it. Even thought fitz doesn't have much problems sophie always feels uncomfortable while he throws his anger on her. Sophie is also always scared to tell him things because of how he will react and that's in my opinion that is not a healthy relationship. Keefe on the other hand makes sophie feel cared for, loved, special and safe. When sophie is upset keefe brings her out of it and makes her laugh. Same with whenever keefe is upset. Sophie is there to help keefe get through it. They both understand eachother deeply and sophitz hasn't come to that. Sophie has no clue what to do when Fitz's loses it making it harsher on her. FItz's really needs to learn to control his emotions because giving Sophie gifts isn't cutting it. That's my main reason I ship Sokeefe, bc i love how much they care for eachother.
lol I said i wouldn't write a paragraph but i did anyways
Looking at this, the Sophitz page doesn't stand a chance.
Anyway, here are MY reasons:
'Sophie and Keefe are meant for each other. They are so cute together. Keefe cares about Sophie a lot and trusts her more than anyone else━and she does too. They share secrets with each other that Sophie won’t even tell Fitz, her Cognate. Keefe really loves Sophie. He put his life on the line by joining the Neverseen━and he did it all just to protect Sophie! He truly cares about her and her feelings. Unlike Fitz, he likes her for who she is, not because she likes him, which she does, but just doesn’t know it yet. My theory is that in Sophie’s head, she thinks she likes Fitz, but in her heart, she likes Keefe. This is proved when Keefe said he could feel her heart emotions when she enhanced him━and clearly he liked what he saw. Keefe likes Sophie a lot, but that means he’s willing to wait for a relationship until she’s ready. He decides he will be whatever 'Sophie needs him to be, a kind and supportive friend, and that he will always love her, even if she doesn’t love him back. Even when Sophie and Fitz started (unofficially) dating, he is kind and supportive and congratulates her, knowing that she is going through a lot, and just hoping that someday she will like him. Sophie cares about Keefe too. When he was discovering secrets about his mom, and all the awful things she’s done, and that it was technically his fault, Sophie provides a friend to talk to and a shoulder to cry on, and vice versa. She misses Keefe a lot after he joins the Neverseen━she even went to the point where she wished she’d find Keefe instead of Fitz when Fitz came to talk to her. Her heart is even broken by Keefe, which is more than I can say for Fitz. But that’s because Fitz never crosses the hard lines. This is probably a topic 'that should be saved for the Fitz roasting, but Fitz has never really sacrificed anything for Sophie. Keefe has crossed some pretty hard lines that Fitz, Alden’s shining, perfect Golden Boy, would never do. He flew halfway across the elvin world on Silveny with Sophie to get her abilities fixed. He joined the Neverseen. He put himself on weeks of bed rest by becoming Mercadir when Sophie and Lady Cadence went to meet with King Dimitar in Nightfall. In Everblaze, he fought his own mom for her. He risked his life again with King Dimitar when they were invading the ogre capital in Neverseen. Want more? ‘Cause I can give more. And he did all those for Sophie. See, Sophie never liked Keefe the minute she met him, as she did with Fitz. Neither did he. Their relationship has slowly built up over time. Keefe actually had to prove himself worthy to Sophie as a 'friend (and possibly, hopefully more!) many, many times, unlike Fitz, who got her instant love because he looks perfect, (though, honestly, when she first met Keefe in Keeper of the Lost Cities, she said that she thought at least half of the girls in Foxfire must have a crush on him, but that just proves my point!) which isn’t fair to Keefe. Sure, he cracks a lot of jokes―and people will jab at him for that. But really, it’s just a self-defense method from his abusive past, a past that he has shared with Sophie and Sophie only (though Fitz got little bits of it when he and Sophie were probing Keefe’s mind in Flashback). Keefe wants the best for Sophie, and doesn’t care what the consequences for this may be. Yes, Sophie calls this reckless, but you can tell she actually admires his determination to protect his friends because it’s so much like her own. 'Sophie will protect her friends and family no matter the cost. Keefe will too (though not so much his family). This connection, how much Sophie trusts Keefe, how supportive they are for each other, and how their relationship really grew over time, shows that they are just perfect for each other, and that their connection is deeper than anything Sophie has with Fitz. When people (especially Ro) meet Sophie and Keefe for the first time, they assume they are together, just because they are so natural around each other, unlike Sophie’s tenseness and nervousness around Fitz. Even I assumed they were together when I first saw the cover of Exile my friend (Logan) was reading. I asked, “Who are they?” And Logan said, “That’s Sophie and Keefe.” And I swear I’m not lying, I actually said, “Oooo, are they dating.” Yep. I actually asked that five 'seconds after seeing the cover. It’s just because their body language is so natural, and they just fit together so naturally. Even just a picture of them makes it look like they are together. On three of the four book covers Keefe is depicted on, he is expressing concern on his face. Just sayin’ he’s probably worried about Sophie! And on Nightfall . . . oh my god don’t even get me started about his expression on Nightfall’s cover. It’s so cute, so passionate! And, hint, hint, Sophie’s gloves are off, she’s enhancing, and Keefe’s grinning again. Does that point to my Sophie-likes-Fitz-in-her-head-but-Keefe-in-her-heart theory or what? Anyway, enough about book covers. Keefe likes Sophie for who she is, not because she likes him (yeah, Fitz, lookin’ at you here). And she likes him back! (Sorry, Dex.) She just doesn’t know it yet. Plus, Sophie’s heart 'does flutter when she’s around Fitz, but it goes into hummingbird mode when she’s around Keefe. Hmmm, I wonder why that is . . . MY SOPHIE-LIKES-FITZ-IN-HER-HEAD-AND-KEEFE-IN-HER-HEART-THEORY!!! Sophie is always worried about Keefe, and never worried about Fitz . . . though that could be because Fitz never does anything worry-worthy. Keefe will always care about Sophie. In the Flashback special chapter, her states that he would watch an hour of Fitzphie mushiness to make Sophie happy. Keefe cheered Sophie up when she was in the Healing Center, and kept her echoes away, and Sophie obviously missed Keefe while he was in the Healing Center. They are perfect for each other for all these reasons . . . and more, but if I said them all, we’d be here for hours. So, yeah, hope you enjoyed, now lets start roasting Fitz!'
Sophie and Fitz are never meant to be. Sophie likes Fitz solely because he's cute. THAT'S ALL. Oh, and don't start with the "Fitz and Sophie have a special connection because he's the one who found her" stuff. Blech! a) Fitz wasn't technically the first elf to find her. Mr. Forkle always knew her, and besides, ALVAR found her first. And b) if Keefe or even TAM had found her, you would be using this reason to ship them. It's so NOT special. Fitz, on the other hand, never makes sacrifices for Sophie. You don't see HIM joining the Neverseen to PROTECT Sophie (because, yes, that is why Keefe joined), or doing really anything for her. And, yes, they are Cognates. But again, that is not something that ONLY Fitz can have with her! If Keefe were a Telepath, they would be Cognates too! Plus, Fitz is a self-absorbed jerk. He won't even SPEAK to Sophie when his dad's mind breaks--though it TOTALLY wasn't her fault! He only apologizes when he KNOWS she's going to heal his dad. And these anger issues don't stop. HE FREAKIN' ALMOST KILLED HIS OWN BROTHER!!! This just shows he is NOT boyfriend material . . . nothing about his personality points to that. My mom, who I forced to read kotlc, was like "okay, after Flashback it's obvious Fitz is going to snap and turn evil." This isn't so much a judge against Sophitz as a judge against Fitz's character, and what makes him really the OPPOSITE of an ideal boyfriend. Yes, he gives Sophie gifts. I'll give you that. But are we sure he doesn't just like Sophie because he wants to elevate his status? And dumps her because he knows she won't (unmatchable)? Which brings me to the DATING issue . . . oh my gosh, where do I even start? First of all, Fitz is putting WAAAAY to much pressure on their relationship. He KNOWS Sophie is busy . . . and admitting he likes her when she's dealing with so much else, especially when they BOTH have echoes that can easily be stirred up? That's just LAME!!! Their relationship was REALLY pressured. Sophie even started crying. SHE BURST INTO TEARS!!! And what did Fitz do? Oh, he didn't lay off. He CONVINCED Sophie to date him anyway even though she CLEARLY wasn't ready. And, yes, he didn't DIRECTLY tell her to go to the matchmakers, but she went BECAUSE OF HIM. Oh, but I'm just warming up. LEGACY is when stuff really goes bad. Now Sophie has even more on her plate. She's unmatchable and a Regent. She's scared to tell Fitz, so she goes and tells a close friend: Keefe. And Fitz virtually stalks them (which happens a few more times during the book), interrupts their conversation, then tries to kiss Sophie while telling her they need to find her biological parents. Fitz continues to make her feel guilty for not telling him EVERYTHING . . . and for even HANGING OUT with Keefe! And when she finds out Oralie's her mom, and doesn't tell Fitz, he's not a sweet, supportive boyfriend. He can only think about himself, and not how this ruins everything for Sophie, too. He basically tells her, to semi-quote Ro: "Okay, Sophie, I'm breaking up with you now because a bunch of snoot-faced intellectuals decide not to put our names on a piece of paper that will allow us to date each other." HARSH!!! He breaks up with her, and doesn't apologize until the end of the book! Then he comes crawling back! What's infuriating is, Sophie doesn't even give him a piece of her mind! She just . . . let's him do that. I mean, they're JUST friends now, so I suppose I should be glad, but . . . Fitz deserves SOOO much worse! Oh, and the fact that they never kiss? Is that strange? It's almost like they're afraid too . . . because they KNOW there won't be any spark. Besides, Fitz isn't cute. He has, like, alien eyes!
Given that the reasons on the Sophitz discussion are solely.
1. They're a cute couple (they aren't)
2. Fitz is hot (he isn't)
3. They're Cognates (my argument above+it's very likely the events of Legacy will have damaged this connection)
4. He found her (my argument above)
Yeah. SOOOOOO shallow. We already know who's winning, but FANDOM user, will you tell us when we get the answers? If so, on which page?
Hope you guys liked my argument!

I don't know why some of it is in bold and some of it isn't . . . this is weird. I swear I didn't copy any of this off of a website . . . unless you count a private presentation I made? . . . (not all of it is from there, though).

Oh, and to Chloe up there? If you like Sophitz so much, go over to the other page and help everyone in your "cult" out, because . . . they need it.
-Keephiegirl
Sorry if I'm being a little rude, guys . . . I don't mean to be insulting. I'm just . . . overexcited, I guess?

No kidding. You, like, wrote an essay. And added some add-ons.
You should show you're ELA teacher!
I'm kidding. (Not really)
I don't have much time either, but here's my argument:
Sophie REALLY deserves to be happy. She's gone through a lot. And when she's with Keefe, she really opens up-on her own. NOT because their Cognates. And she relaxes with him.
But Fitz makes her stress- pretty much all the time. She's constantly worried about upsetting him, or damaging their relationship... And Fitz rerfuses to accept that she's unmatchable, and that she doesn't want to find her biological father, or tell anyone about her biological mother. He says it's not her choice, when in truth, it is.
Their relationship may look good- his and her looks- but it's to hard on her. She's kinda afraid to tell him the truth, and is afraid of how he'll react. She shouldn't have to worry about being herself, or that he'll dump her because of her status! He should be fine how she is, no matter the baggage. And Keefe does that actively. He was SURPRISED when she admitted how her matching status has made her hide from people- especially Fitz. He assured her that that it wouldn't-that it SHOULDN'T- change anything.
