Hey, everybody! How are you all doing? So, I've been wanting to start this club for quite a while now, and I'm so glad that this Wiki now has the "Club" Forum as an available feature.
Anyways, basically, this club is where I randomly schedule 12-hour Read-A-Thons for all you book lovers out there! Sometimes I'll also challenge you to read a book (or two) with a certain theme, but, other than that, that's basically how this is going to work. I hope you enjoy, and, if you'd like to participate, please comment down below before the Read-A-Thon starts. After it's over, we can compare what we read and how we enjoyed it.
Okay, so how this is going to work is that I will set a particular date for the Read-A-Thon (see below for first date) and on that date, all of the participating members will crack out whatever book they choose and begin reading as often as they can for twelve hours straight (for instance, if I started to read at 9:30 am, I'd finish reading at 9:30 pm of THE SAME DAY). Thanks, and here's the challenge or prompt for this month (and yes, this will be a monthly activity):
This month's 12-hour Read-A-Thon date: March 30, 2019
Challenge: Read a new book! Read a book that you've never read before! I think I'm going to be reading (or trying to, anyway) Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. I have been wanting to try this book for a long time, but I've never gotten the chance. Comment below "I'm taking on the challenge!" if you want to participate. Thank you all so much, and hope you enjoy. I can't wait to hear your recommendations and thoughts.
IMPORTANT INFO: Just in case you forget about the Read-A-Thon, I'll remind you on your message page three or four days in advance. Thanks, you guys are so incredible. It's fine if you don't read all twelve hours, but make sure you read as much as possible. The rules for this are incredibly flexible; so it's fine if you bend them a little bit to your advantage.
Last thing: thank you, incredible admins, for adding this page onto the Forum. It'll be so fun, and I can't wait to put it to more use.
