All elves, with the exception of Sophie Foster, have eyes that are different shades of blue.
These shades range widely, from silvery blue to greenish blue, purplish blue, and beyond.
Sophie Foster is currently the only elf with non-blue eyes, the reason for is suspected to be because her DNA is modeled after an alicorn's.
Changing Eye Color[]
It is unknown why all elves have blue eyes; it may or may not be explained further in the series. There are, however, elixirs that can temporarily change the color of an elf's eyes. For instance, Dex changes his eye color to red sometimes to freak people out. Many elves used elixirs to turn their eyes brown after Sophie became popular at Foxfire. This elixir is called Brown Eye Solidari-tea.
