Bethany Lopez is a human referenced in the fourth book of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, shown to not have exhibited polite behaviors towards Sophie. At the time she had been in first grade, a year older than Sophie, and was her across the street neighbor. Through this she is also in the same district Mr. Forkle was located in. Later in "the boy who disappeared" memory, Sophie had recalled that Bethany had called her Dorktionary and told her to go spell something.
