The Ancients are the oldest elves in the Lost Cities. Due to the fact that no elves have died of old age yet, the Ancients are some of the oldest living beings in the Elvin world. They have pointed ears (a sign of elven maturity and age) as stated in Keeper of the Lost Cities. They rarely accept visitors and typically live in solitude, due to the fact that they've amassed so much more wisdom than the other elves that it's hard to relate to others. It is mentioned in Keeper of the Lost Cities that Ancients have near-impenetrable minds. Some are also able to a lot with their skills, such as brain pushes.

Councillor Bronte[]
Councillor Bronte is an Inflictor and mentors Sophie. He a member of the Council and has been for many years.
Bronte's Mother[]
Bronte's mother was mentioned once by Grady when Bronte told him that he inflicted on her once due to his inexperience and lack of control over the ability and his emotions.
Fallon Vacker[]
Fallon Vacker is Fitz, Alvar, and Biana's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather. He rarely accepts visitors in his home. He was one of the original three Councillors.

She was alive when humans still lived in Atlantis, and Fallon was a Councillor. She has a history of being a prisoner in Lumenaria, washed out of the Councillors' minds. She wreaked havoc on and/or tried to kill Sophie and her friends and is seen as very powerful and unstable. In Stellarlune however, Lady Gisela killed her with an explosive and she died.
