I feel like they would've moved Prentice since Glimmer moved in, but they might not be saying anything about his presence to her.
Idk. Does anyone else know?
What is an AU, in terms of writing?

What does it mean to be cognates with someone on Fandom?
Hello, I am a fan of KOTLC that wanted to talk for a moment about a few specific parts of this series that I feel the series needs to expand on: mainly the portrayal of humans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and more ethnic representation.
Okay, so I was reading a part of Flashback again, and Sophie was trying to explain human pollution to Tam and Dex.
I know that it’s just a book, and that it’s hard to tell from the tone, since it’s on paper, but it came off as rather rude of her.
You may not have meant it that way, but reading it, that’s how it seemed to me, and likely, other fans of the series as well, which actually hurt me a lot.
I don’t agree with some of what humanity does, and seeing a fresh take on it from a different perspective is always interesting, but what the elves - and Sophie - fail to mention is that we have some really great qualities as well.
And when asked, if she is ever asked, Sophie fails to come up with good answers, instead choosing to have an inner monologue about how humans did seem to be very a very war-mongering people and how there were some good reasons to want to get rid of us - this coming from the girl who was supposed to stand up for humans.
Sophie also fails to mention that a lot of humans just want to go about their lives in peace. Not all of us want to start a war, or are greedy or whatever else the series has said that the elves think about us.
And even though we have a positive human character with Amy, she’s just not in it all that much. She was in it for a few parts in Nightfall, mentioned once in Flashback, came into Legacy only once, and wasn’t even mentioned in the novella part of Unlocked. (Probably barely touched on in the non-Novella part, as well.)
So I guess that I just wanted to let you know that the elves’ perspective on humans just isn’t true, and that even while Sophie should adapt to the elves’ culture, Sophie was supposed to bring a different perspective to the Lost Cities. It has worked, in part, but only among close friends, family, and the Councillors, and even that hasn’t really changed, from what we can see.
The LGBTQ+ representation. We don’t have one member of the LGBTQ+ community confirmed yet. I’ve been talking to people who say that even if you included, “two males holding hands on the streets'', it would make them feel better. I also know that several people feel under-represented due to the lack of LGBTQ+ members of the community.
An additional note, I asked several people who they headcanon as members of the LGBTQ+ community, or what LGBTQ+ ships they have, and here’s what they said:
-Marelinh, Kam, Sophiana, FeDex
-Marrelinh, Keefex, Sophiana
-Sophie as demisexual
-Linh as pan
-Marella as lesbian
-Elwin is aroace agender or agender and attracted to all non-feminine genders, a lot more XD
-Biana as bisexual
-I have too many XD
-Marallinh
-Marelinh, Sophiana, Kam, FeDex
-Keefe is bisexual
-Tam is gay
-Sophie is Queer
-Elwin is either Gay, or Faunsexual and has a crush on one of the mentors
-Noland is gay and that's why he's a Councillor; because he doesn't think he'll be accepted
-Umber was trans
-Alvar is Pansexual with a male preference, or Gay
-Quinlin is Aroace
-I want to find someone that would fit Genderfluid,
-Wylie is non-binary
-Bisexual (prefers girls) Bex
-Heteroromantic asexual Lex
-Omnisexual (kinda prefers boys) Rex
-Lex as non binary and pan ace
-Keefitz, sophiana, marellinh, fedex, kam, marellinhiana
-sophie is polyam, as is keefe and fitz because s o k e e f i t z
There are sooooo many more to include, so if you want to take a peak, here’s a great place to look about info on Keeper characters and what people think of them as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Okay, so on to my third point: Racial representation. As I’ve said before, when you don’t have people that look like you, act like you, or are like you, people can feel grossly misunderstood. Several people I’ve met who have read this series who are of other ethnicity feel like they don’t have characters to look up to. I’ve mentioned before that I have been talking to a lot of people who really enjoy reading this series, and every single person I’ve met agrees that there needs to be more representation, both in terms of race and LGBTQ+ representation.
On a side note, some people feel like Tam and Linh are stereotyped, as they really have no character development and no layers to their personality. I know you’ve said that elves have no race, or whatever, but at the same time, if you don’t specify their race, it generalizes and stereotypes Eastern Asians even more.
But, along those lines, I do have to say that a lot of people think it’s too late for you to include any of these things - that it would just seem like it’s forced or you’re doing it just because of the world we’re in right now.
That said, I know that a lot of people would really appreciate it if you did consider adding some of these things in.
Anyway, I’ll wrap it up now, because you’ve probably had enough of these emails, but I hope you think about adding in even just any of these topics. It would mean a lot to a bunch of us, since I’ve been communicating with several people who agree with me.
Oh, and I hope you’re having a good day and a good time writing book 9. :)
And, if it's plot-related, would you mind if I were to send it to her in a letter?
