So, none of us like homophobia, right?
Well, I was thinking about it and I realized how we react to someone being homophobic is a bit…extreme and hypocritical.
Because people aren’t born homophobic just like someone isn’t born racist.
They become that way due to experiences and what they are told by those around them.
So, hating them the moment you find out they are homophobic and we immediately began saying ‘SCREW THEM’ or ‘THEY SUCK’ or something and I don’t think it’s okay to do that.
Because you don’t know how they were raised or what they were told.
I admit I was homophobic before joining the wiki because of the way my parents portrayed the community but then I learned that they aren’t always right and that I’m not against the community. [in fact I’m actually questioning right now and think I might be pan but idk yet.]
So maybe instead of just immediately hating someone you could try to understand them? Because isn’t that what you want them to do for you?
So yeah, that’s it lol
